And the Gun Shop Owner (Nonsense) decides not to vote, either. One townsperson has been arrested, and another is dead, which leaves 12 votes. The results of the vote are: Mayor (Asguard): 6 votes Lawyer (Norsefire): 6 votes BUT, nietzschefan is under the Casino Owner's CCTV surveillance, and so his vote does not count tonight. nietzschefan voted for Norsefire. So.... [size=+2]The Mayor (Asguard) is ARRESTED.[/size] Asguard can take no further part in the game unless the Lawyer (Norsefire) chooses to bail him out.
Correction: Initially I announced the Lawyer's arrest, but I forgot about the CCTV on nietzschefan. In fact, Asguard is arrested (edited my twilight post above).

A few clarifications, answers to questions and other moderator stuff: * I referred to the Entertainer's bodyguard. This was a mistake on my part. The bodyguard is the Casino Owner's bodyguard, not the Entertainer's bodyguard. Not that there's any necessary connection there (e.g. one might be mafia and the other not). * Please do NOT quote messages you receive from the moderator OR post them in full. You can relay the information, but do it in your own words. Don't just copy my PMs word for word. * Since some players are getting hints, the other players would do well to ASK what they know. And the players getting hints might want to try to find out more from other players, who may have different information. * If you're a townsperson, keeping your hints to yourself is probably not a very smart move, because you won't be able to compare notes with other players who may have info that supplements yours. * Regarding posted deadlines: UT is Universal Time, previously known as Greenwich Mean Time. So UT and GMT are the same thing. * If nietzschefan is under CCTV surveillance, he can still use his once-only power to determine the town vote. However, his vote in the "normal" town vote doesn't count, and neither does his mafia vote, if he is mafia.
[size=+2]Mafia - DAY 4[/size] Following the surprising arrest of the Mayor (Asguard) in yesterday's town vote, the Mayor is now languishing in a prison cell, hoping from a phone call from the Lawyer (Norsefire) to say that he is being bailed out. Last night, following the vote, the people of the town once again went about their normal business. The Gun Shop Proprietor (Nonsense) has been out of town for unexplained reasons for a long time now, and didn't participate in yesterday's town vote. It now seems he has chosen to leave town for good. However, he has handed over his business to a new player: phoenix2634. Last night, after his shift at the bar, the Bartender (Enmos) said goodbye to the Casino Owner and walked home through the town. This was the last contact anybody had with the bartender (or was it?). This morning, a neighbour of the bartender was out collecting the morning newspaper (which the Editor (nietzschefan) had been working on most of the night - confirmed by the CCTV rigged up by the Casino Owner). Glancing at the house next door, she saw that the front door was wide open. Going over to check, she discovered the body of the Bartender lying half in and half out of the doorway. An ambulance was called, but nothing could be done to save Enmos. The Police Officer (Betrayer0fHope) was called in to collect evidence, but all he would say publically is that the Bartender had been shot once in the head and twice in the chest. The Police think that Enmos probably answered the door when somebody knocked or rang the bell, and was then shot at point-blank range several times by persons unknown. Last night, the Doctor (inzomnia) was on night shift at the hospital. She was seen doing her usual rounds of patients at 3 am. At 5 am, however, she could not be found by the duty nurse. Then, a staff member at the hospital went into the surgery. A gruesome sight awaited her. The body of the Doctor (inzomnia) was lying face-up, feet on the floor and back on the operating theatre table. The Doctor had deep cuts across the front of her body and defence wounds on her bloodied hands. She had been stabbed multiple times in the chest. A terrified look remained on her still-open eyes. With the Doctor dead, there is now nobody who can save the townspeople if they are attacked by Mafia. The town has just got even more dangerous. ---- phoenix 2634 is now the Gun shop Proprietor, and Nonsense is out of the game. The Bartender (Enmos) is irretrievably DEAD, and can play no further part in this game. The Doctor (inzomnia) is also irretrievably DEAD, and can play no further part in the game. It can now be revealed that the Bartender (Enmos) was NOT a member of the Mafia. It can also be revealed that the Doctor (inzomnia) was Cosa Nostra - a MAFIA underworld figure who was at least partially responsible for the recent spate of murders in Plazmaville. The following players remain alive and active: Police officer Casino Owner Gossip Village Idiot Lawyer Editor Taxi Driver Bodyguard Gun shop proprietor Entertainer Hobo If Asguard is not bailed out by the lawyer during the DAY, it will be revealed whether or not Asguard was mafia or not. This will be done while still allowing sufficient time for people to change their votes if they wish. Confirmed: The Lawyer (Norsefire) has bailed the Mayor (Asguard) out of jail. Asguard may now post in this thread and carry on in his role. Norsefire cannot bail anybody else out of jail during the game.
concidering the fact that inzomnia turned out to be mafia and enmos was inocent i owe him a HUGE apology I will wait for BOH to investigate to see who he finds is mafia now
I was almost certain that Enmos was mafia! I was just waiting for him to slip up and reveal someone else who also is.
