The classic definition: So does what is going on in Iraq today, meet with the definition of Civil War, 1. Foreign Terrorist. 2. Religious Differences.
There isn't really an argument. I think that there is a [ENC]civil war[/ENC] ongoing in [ENC]Iraq[/ENC]. I just needed to confirm something for the encyclopedia. I think I had you confused with the other [ENC]redneck[/ENC].
so i suppose waaay back in the 1860's the united states didnt have a civil war either.... it is well known that the british interfered in that war... so, mix: 1. foreign interferance with 2. ideological differences and you get something that cant be called a civil war, yes? this is your logic?
spuriousmonkey They are the basis of language skills, it seems that you have a major problem in understanding the definition of the words that you read, or is it that you don't have proper reading ability which leads to your problem in definition of the word's?
you are like a child trying to stab a professional fencer with a salad fork. stick to your war "stories". you are better suited to making things up than trying to scrutinize anybody's lingual skills.
Still have comprehension problems, well that is your problem, I have answered you if you don't have the skills to understand the answers that is your problem, it can be taken care of with a few remedial class's.
The Devil Inside If you want to be technically correct no we didn't have a Civil War, The fact is that the Confederate State of America didn't try to over throw the standing government, the just left the Union and set up a government of their own. They never made a attempt to over through the Government and their aim in the war was to force a recognition of their Government, and a Peace on the United States. Now do some research on the subject and you will find those are the facts of the situation, If the South had won, they would not have occupied the North or Changed the Government, they would only have demanded a Peace Treaty, and Recognition of the fact that they were a Sovereign Nation.
The Devil Inside, Word mean certain things, they have specific definitions, and meanings, if you don't use those definition, and meanings you cannot understand what is taking place. The great failing of the education today, allowing the definition and meaning of words to become imprecise.
spuriousmonkey Now this is a fine example of a post with no recognizable point. What is its connection to the discussion.
