schematics for an HP

    does anyone know where or has the schematics for a '98 Hewllet Packard Computer? I was fixing mine and oops a few wires popped outta place.

    I didn't know there was such thing as schematics for whole computers. Maybe if you want to take some pictures and post them someone could help

    Go here: http://www.hp.com/cposupport/sampler/pvpc.html?cc=us
    And in the search box type the model number of your computer. Look for something along the lines of a manuel.

    Or if you already have the motherboard out of the box, find the maker of it and the model number, go to the manufacture's site and find a manuel there. I had a '98 Compaq that I overhauled and Compaq claimed that they made their own motherboards, but when I opened the "box" up, the mb was a Gigabyte!! From there, Gigabyte's website gave me all the info I could ever need on the model, including diagrams.
