Love it or hate it?
I used to be very nervous, but nowadays I love public speaking. I guess it is a matter of practice and the motivation to bring a message accross.

i THINK most people would enjoy public speaking if its something they are passoionate about. But most of the time it is forced like a business or school assignment.

It's a matter of getting used to it. I am scared of it but give me a minute or two and i'll be fine. It's a baseless fear like many others we face and hide from.
I used to be reluctant because of my weird accent, but these days that disappeared and I now have a nice Toronto accent which makes me feel better about myself, hence I am more confident when speaking in front of a group of people.

I love speaking to a huge group of people. There is no need to get to personal and there is a sort of universalism to what is conveyed. Its one on one conversation that I have a real problem with.

I HATE it with a passion. that's why I like internet forums
I remember hearing a that the general populace is more afraid of public speaking than death.
A lot of what I do is teaching and group counseling, so I've gotten used to it.
I'm usually kind of nervous, but if it's a topic I know well I can do it pretty good.
I'm always nervous when I don't know the people. :(
That's one of my biggest fears. I couldn't even do it in front of two people who I was unfamiliar with.

Public oratory is a great vexation, but I've gotten used to it. I expect it'll always make me nervous, but the aversion isn't all that inhibitive.

It makes me nervous unless I am caught up in the moment.
It used to bother me when i was younger, around 14. But now, i enjoy it and am actully pretty good at it. I find im at my best when im in front of a crowd.
