I'm just saying I'd like to stick with the current facts.
In my story the Imperials won't be engaging a future Federation but the current Federation. I feel the facts are sufficient to extropolate a possible encounter.
That dude helped be figure out that Federation weapons are at least ten times superior to turbo lasers...and that makes sense in episode after episode....
The fight would be very intresting...

That's the thing... Nemesis is a few years after Voyagers return, which is after the launch of the Prometheus class... the Sovereign class had since been upgraded with Ablative Armor (not the kind that Voyager used, but the kind the Defiant used) to help aid it's survival in future conflicts.

Nah, it has to be more than that... Janeway wasn't made admiral that same year was she?
And the Prometheus class was never even really mentioned in TNG... so it's a post sovereign design. Considering at the end of Voy it was the flagship of the Federation Defensive Fleet... I dunno.
Or... was it in TNG... I cant remember now *scratches head*
-
Yes, Admiral Janeway took over Star Fleet operation in a span of a Year and half.
Propetheus was not a flagship of anything. It was an experimental design and top secret. and there was no sign the ship swas commissioned in active service, Kitt.
-
Voy Endgame - USS Prometheus was leading the fleet, aka, flagship, as the Admiral was on board that ship. Also, it was designated USS Prometheus, and not an NX designation either. I'll have to re-watch the ep for the designation
-
Yes kitt is right.
Speaking of which, I always hated how on voyager, all the views of starfleet had the Voyager doors, and the Voyager phaser rifles. Also check out the doors at starfleet hq.
-
Sorry guys that's inaccurate. We do not know what ship was leading the Fleet. Infact there is a Galaxy an Akira and a Saber class vessel ahead of the Prometheus holding position by the appeaure. Further we never are close enough to deterime the registry of the Prometheus had indeed change.
Star Fleet has always had only one Flagship...Enterprise. This fleet did not have a Flagship as the Admiral was planetside directing the fleet.
So that one is a no go...

Hey Saquist, do you still have those STBC SW files you were using for the simulator? I finlly got STBC, and I'd like to try them out, if possible. Oh, and I think I've figured out what my favorite Trek ship is: The Post-Borg Sovereign. Very powerful.
Also, will your files overwrite any in Enemies of Life?
-
Star Fleet's flagship is Enterprise... she's the FLAGSHIP of the entire starfleet... this was a smaller fleet...
just like the flagship of the US Navy is still "enterprise", each "battle group" has a flagship.
I believe the Admiral was on the Prometheus... it shows a shot of the Prometheus, then a cutscene of the ship being hailed and the Admiral taking the hail... *shrugs* Least I think it was the admiral.
Here is a clip of Endgame... Admiral Paris is ON the Prometheus...

Oh yeah!! You're obviously at BCfiles.com
BACK up everything...BC is known to crash with those modification and regularly defragment.
We don't use Enemies of life much any more but we do use the new Kobyashi Maru 1.0...It give you everything.

The Admiral was in the PathFinder Building on Earth.
-
Then that scene makes absolutely no sense... why would they focus on the Prometheus... then show Admiral Paris around a control console on what appears to be a bridge?
-
It makes sense because that room is associated with the Pathfinder Project from previous episodes not the bridge of the Prometheus.
-
But still, why would they show the Prometheus and then that room?
-
Well most people who watch Star Trek know that a Bridge is the common place to associate the command of a Star ship. Most of the individuals in the room were no at any station nor were they command personel. The room it'self wasn't the standard Bridge format...No main view screen and it definitely wasn't the Prometheus bridge which we've seen before.
-
Yeah, but considering the Prometheus we saw was a prototype, and knowing that it splits in 3 pieces... *shrugs*
Meh, i still think it was the flagship... was the most "powerful" ship there...
-
Prometheus was necessarily was the most "powerful" just because it's the Prometheus.
There were two Defiant class Star ships there. Both are more powerful than the Prometheus.
-
I wouldn't really say that... Defiants are rather powerful, but if I remember right, the Prometheus class was the second ship class ever to "feature" Quantum Torps
-
What about Quantum cannons?
-
I have no idea what those are.
