I saw the first Star Wars when it came out. I thought it was fucking rubbish then and I think it's fucking rubbish now.
Bizarrely, this first Star Wars is now number 4.

Wrath of Khan was a great movie, but only becuase it divorced itself from Star Trek ideology and went for the whole Star Wars feel. There was no complex multisyllabic explanation, no moralizing speaches, just a good old fashioned starship battle. Definately one of the best of all times. One of the few Star Trek movies to make it to the top ten. However Empire Strikes Back has it beat in everyway. There is a close comparison but ESB was just superior. ESB had better plot, more wow factor, better acting (except in the case of Nimoy and Montalban), better effects, and better story.

the Luke I am ur father thing was known by vader all along. As he was a jedi he felt Luke's prescence as something important in his life. He also knew that his son Luke and daughter Leia was hidden from him to not fall into the hands of the empire. He felt his prescence just like he felt Obi wan's in a New hope.
I meant that, David Prowse, the guy that played Vader in the films, did not know that his character, Darth Vader, was Luke's father, until he saw the movie at the premiere.

they do have cloaking devices. How do you think they become undetected . watch empire strikes back and rotj youll see ur cloaking. They don't need all that stuff becuase they have dark jedi on their side such as darth maul, darth sidius, and vader. Don't tell me worf can beat up a jedi.
Only if he can get to within hand-to-hand range and the Jedi is unarmed. Two pretty big ifs.
In a starwars book I read I read about a Jedi that can put a war in the way they want it to be. No that happens in the xbox game. not the books. So one jedi has the power to turn the tide of the war and thats like only 0.0000000001% of the universe.When you have that who cares about holodecks and transporters.

1. Because their technology evolved along different lines. Doesn't mean they are not highly advanced. Besides, technology level doesn't really matter. It's how much raw damage you can do. Since SW & Imperial tech evolved along offensive capabilities, they will turn your ships into scrap before they even get close.
2. They Empire does have cloaking technology.
