Who could leave out Let Me In? Although a dark romance , revenge is definitely a subplot.
"But, you're just a girl", Owen.
"I'm a little bit stronger than you think", Abby
"Columbiana" - Horrible.

Hanna. Revenge is a strong element in the plot.

I love action hero, revenge, rampage, shoot'em up movies. The previously mentioned "Hanna" makes my five best for 2011.
Just didn't like "Colombiana".

I watched the following movie just last week. Every once in a while I like to see the bad guy get away with it. I enjoyed the hell out of it.:D

Anything but ordinary, but definitely a Law abiding citizen
Bet you saw this on TV the other night? So did I, for the 3rd time, and it was still worth watching. A very well done revenge movie.

You are right, thanks for setting me straight about the name of it. I just remember "citizen" when talking about that movie.
~Revenge?
D.O.A. (1950) starring Edmond O'Brien. A classic film noir.
Teaching Mrs Tingle (1999) starring Helen Mirren. For anyone who's had really scary teachers — and who hasn't.
I just saw "Haywire" and it was pretty goddamned fantastic. Soderbergh couldn't do a bad movie if his life depended on it. In fact, I would put it up there with "Bourne".
Too often in super-elite-fighting-person movies with a female lead (like Colombiana), the lady is this thin, fragile thing but somehow able to take out and kill men without breaking a sweat. By choosing Gina Carano (an MMA champ), it was uber-believable.
I want a sequel.
I'm looking for well done revenge movies. The standard I want to go by is.
I Spit on Your Grave, both versions 1978 & 2010
IMO revenge movies don't get much better, but I'm looking and will take all recommendations seriously.
