Woo yay finally got power back after three days.... four more till my dsl is back on though >.<

M? Why?

Cape Cod got hammered by a storm..... 75k to 150k without power.... Power was back but the telephone people are lazy. I guess power is a priority and telephone can take its time.

3 days for power is also lazy.

Well, the main trunks were all back up. They had to go and reattach the power cables to several hundred homes, as well as reconnect power for several neighborhoods that were knocked out. Also there was a lot of trees still resting on the lines. On top of all that as they powered everything up transformers were blowing. It was quite a mess, and I could see them working all day and some of the night while I was driving around.

Telephones lazy cause I havnt seen a single truck out.
