The Mass Suicide cults aren't so popular anymore because they 'lost their fan base.' Hehehhe.

I think I deserve my own cult. Of mellow people. Yes, mellow people. Mellow people, wacky people, scifi devoted people, nutty people, nerd-ish people. So I now announce the......

    CULT OF PROCYON

    Yeah.....baby!

There is something wrong with that definition because early christanity was concided a Jewish cult. It dosn't fit ANY of that

So is there a problem with the definition, or is it more a problem with incorrectly labeling Christianity a "cult"?

    Peace.

actually its how a word is used that gets it its definition and as christanity WAS a cult of judasim before any MODEN cults its the definition thats wrong. It was a cult before it actually broke away and thats when it became a religion in its own right.

So you're saying that a cult evolved into a religion. Certainly. Languages also evolve, don't they? I think the definition that this person supplied addresses the impression that many people have today regarding modern cults.

    Peace.

    I'd start a cult for...

Scilosopher and Stryderunknown (or as I like to call him...Stryder-baby...of course, I don't know if HE knows THAT)

How 'bout a cult for that man/machine/it/computer/alien thing that everyone likes to argue with?Ë™

    Bebelina - definitely!

She definitely deserves her own cult! She's the most.... eccentric of us all - and she has really great taste in clothes. I'd sign up. I get a free t-shirt with that right?

    Can i have a cult?

Im probaly unstable enough for it. It could be the Schrodinger's Cat cult and all the members will sit around in boxes prentending to be cats that are dead and alive at the same time.

    Good idea?
