Well, I agree, but with a simple alteration..... you are bound to the result of the road u chose still you have a free choice of which to follow. So if u have two rooms one has choclate cake inside the other a lion. If you enter the first, you end up with a feast, if the second is ur choice u end up eaten!

yes but with my theory (remember road only an example not literall!) if your fate was to be eaten by a lion, assuming you didn't know that this room was a choice initially (who'd choose this?) but you chose the chocolate room, you may avoid your fate temporarily only to find the lion room is yet again a choice after the chocoloate room, and so on and so forth until indeed you enter it and are eaten.

I for example feel I deviated from my fate once by making a big mistake, but after the mistake and played itself out I found myself back on track and following my destined course, a course I feel I would have been on sooner had I not made that mistake.

Fate is not all about death! We know that comes to us all, I was thinking more along the lines of life events.

Duendy, I cannot believe how foolish you are being. Of the many people on this site TofR comes closest, in my short acquaintance of her, to actually matching the characteristics you consider valuable in a human. Somehow, you have taken offense at her from the outset, and, as is your way, you have then failed to see anything positive beyond the red mist. Calm down. Go look through all her posts in all the threads. It is not a major challenge. You could have an ally here and you have tossed her aside. Quite remarkable.

TofR, Duendy is a one of. Several of those who know her (she remains somewhat vagure on gender) have a strange affection for her. She is, if nothing else, consistent. Her typography is horrendous, her use of the quote function, lamentable; her logic, as rare as a creationist's fossil collection; her arguments highly suspect; her agenda always to the fore. But her heart is in approximately the right place. With guidance she could make sense.

I have used some very harsh words to her and about her. I suspect I shall do so again, but I should be genuinely saddened if she was not around. I can't say the same for some of the other posters.

 

Fabulous as always, I feel all naked now! I can't hide behind my crap little examples then! lol, never mind

 

Meanwhile I shall try to figure out how to use the quote function, nothing I can do about typing and spelling (dyslexic fingers remember!) I love that my arguments are highly suspect and my logic creative, makes for more entertainment and of course you know I think I'm right! lol, fabulous, love this site.
