Also, as well as using it as a political weapon against other countries, leaders in some developing countries (Syria especially as well as many Afrikaan speaking nations) the goverments use this religious tension to divert their hatred from the corruption, lack of social standards and freedom of movement and speech that we take for granted here but are stripped from people in developing countries. These goverments add oil to the flames already burning.

Heres the $6 billion dollar question though. What makes you think that if an developing country had an aethist majority with one of these types of goverments, that they would not use this aethism the same way, to fan flames of war between them and religious countries, allowing them to avoid a revolution and continue with their corrupt leadership?

I could easily substitue a few words for islam/christianity/satanism/Judaism or some other words, throw in a few god is with us phrases and kill the infidels and voila the extremist puppets are ready to dance on the strings and distract everyone from how shoddy and corrupt my rule is.

BTW out of interest do you wonder why many parts of Africa is AGAIN on the brink of famine and yet if you look in a newspaper the headlines are dominated by marches, threats of violence and assaults on embassies. I thinks its disgraceful how people ignore this as the brutal dictators sit on their thrones laughing at the great powers of this world while the only man who in this entire world who I would trust to set this wrong right has turned 90(nelson mandela) without someone to take up his legacy.

Western Africa has large Oil reserves, which is going to make it a battlefield for "nations addicted to hydrocarbon energy" within the next 20 years.

In the post that started this thread the term 'non-Muslim countries' was used.

What countries fit this profile? EVERY country seems to have ALL variations of religion - ESPECIALLY the West!

If there is any conspiracy it is to spend all day protesting while the rest of the country being disrupted is trying to do their job or going to school.

Why aren't the protesters doing this? Are they using vacation time? The other religions are made-fun of at various times but the followers don't bother (not to the recent extremes) because they believe in their faith and nothing can shake it.

I think the protesters need to consider that strongly ... Anything else leaves a curious negative in my usually tolerant mind. Why so quick to protest?
