It does seem that this whenever this administration is facing sinking approval ratings, "things" happen to cast the light on something else. I don't get the samething out of the above article as you Happeh but it may just be wishing thinking on my part.

Also, I'm of the mind that World War III has already started. It's may not look like past wars but that I think is the point. All sides are ready. The world situation can best be described as tense. All it needs now is a little nudge and all out fighting will soon begin. 2 years at most.

I know you guys don't have a brain among you, but what the heck. This is the response to the article at the top. The article at the top was a reasoned debate on the military possibilities of the next war. It was meant to make the west think before killing more people.

In this article, a German is being used to say the west will slaughter Iranians, destroy Iran. While the USA is doing as Israel ordered it, the Israelis themselves will use the cover of USA fighting Iran to make aan attack on Syria, Lebanon and finish slaughtering the Palestinians. It does not say it in the article but I would bet occupation of Saudi oilfields would probably take place also.

An initial Israeli air attack against some Iranian nuclear targets, command and control targets and Shahab missile sites. Iran retaliates with its remaining missiles, tries to close the Gulf, attacks US naval assets and American and British forces in Iraq. If Iranian missiles have chemical warheads (in fact or presumed), the US will immediately use nuclear weapons to destroy the Iranian military and industrial infrastructure. If not, an air campaign of up to two weeks will prepare the ground campaign for the occupation of the Iranian oil and gas fields.

Mass mobilization in Iraq against US-British forces will be at most a nuisance - easily suppressed by the ruthless employment of massive firepower. And Israel will use the opportunity to deal with Syria and South Lebanon, and possibly with its Palestinian problem.

The character of this war will be completely different from the Iraq war. No show-casing of democracy, no "nation-building", no journalists, no Red Cross - but the kind of war the United States would have fought in North Vietnam if it had not had to reckon with the Soviet Union and China.

 

One thing you guys need to understand about this stuff is that the Pentagon routinely plans for all kinds of shit, not a small amount of which is patently absurd. That doesn't mean it has any chance of happening. We do it because it gives the related elements something to use to train and keep their edges honed. Just because there is a contingency plan for some wild-ass scenario doesn't mean it has any chance of actually happening. In the case of this one I can assure you it does not, irrespective of how much tinfoil you wrap it with. We also have plans for a landed invasion of Canada, I shit you not.

thats why the american military works so well we make plans for every situation whats your point. If iran uses a nuke america will open up with tactical nukes we are strapped when it comes to human resources so it sounds like a reasonable plan. If iran gets crazy.

i would hope so, from a military stand point if the shit hits the fan well need oil for our tanks the only get a half mile to the gallon.

if israel attacked islamic states it would only be fair they have been attacked how many times by how many contries in the past 60 years. Its not their fault syria, egypt, iraq, and jordan suck at war. Now it will be isreal's turn to be on the offensive.
