Is it true about the new Indiana Jones movie?

If so, i just hope thats its not the typical things we see these days: the new version of the movie with lots of crazy action and no story. Well, the others movies were not exactly good on story but they were nice (i think i just say this because i was child in that time..if was now i think i would consider them as a crap).

Do you know anything about the main story? Is it about Atlantis? I ask this because the best computer game abot Indiana Jones was The Fate of Atlantis, and that could be a nice back story for the movie.

oh, and btw, an Indiana Jones without Harrison Ford, is like a Star Wars without Han Solo (thats the real reason why the new movies sucks

It looks like it has been announced: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367882/

And it looks like Mr. Ford has taken up the role. Due to his current age I would assume it takes place well after WW2 and maybe in the 50's (early 60's at a stretch). And here was me hoping for some more Nazi whooping from the master himself. Dang.

I read somewhere they were looking at a script about Excalibur, but Atlantis sounds a lot more interesting. Junior!

I saw a recent interview. Apparently, everyone is agreed that there will be a 4th Indiana Jones, but they haven't come close to finding a script.

Script has been finished and agreed upon by both Speilberg and Lucas.

It's gonna involve the soviet union and a race to find some fuckin' thing...probably.
Either soviets or some underground remnants of the nazis...

Maybe the spear of destiny? hmm too similar to the grail and the ark.

    Atlantis would certainly be interesting.

I hope Sean Connery is in it.

ah man, Harisson ford's too old now and Sean Connery ..! Their time has passed. Maybe Ford can play a supporting role this time as he passes the baton to a newer, different archeologist. The only way it will be successful is if it is different and new. Not the same old crap. -- how about Indiana Jane? (just kidding). How about Indiana Jones Episode 1?

Oh, don't be embarrased!! Indian Jones is classic action/adventure like the Mummy!!

    Not CRAP!

The reason why the new movies suck is that George Lucas has become a pompous, arrogant, meatbag!! Have you heard his interviews when he completed the new editions of episodes 4-6 about 10 years ago? And his interviews while making the new ones? In short, he has lost it. He can no longer produce or write a screenplay that is worth anything. He is a perfectionist, so he may still have value as a director, but he lacks vision.

Indiana Jones, on the other hand...no one can play Indiana. They are going to have to pass it on or forget about it. A new character of sorts.
