Yeah, there is a lot of anti-Arab and anti-Muslim sentiment. It's hard to tell how much of that is racism, per se, and not classism (Muslims = less wealthy than native Americans), or outright religious or political discrimination. If we are going to have violent racism, I'd like to have a diversity of it, like people who hate eskimoes arguing with misogynists and anti-Semites.

Indeed, there is an important distinction there. The key is in the limitations of what race predicts. If you meet an Inuit, odds are 98% that they have type O blood. Caucasian folk have odds a good deal lower than that. That's a racial distinction, acknowledged as scientific fact. OTOH, some claim that Arabs are more violent than Caucasians, when even a cursory glance at history shows this to be baseless bigotry.
