Harold and Maude is such a beautiful film.

That line near the end, when Harold tells Maude he loves her: "Oh, Harold, that's wonderful! Go out and love some more."

For pure drama at the highest standard you can't get any better than Godfather prt 1,2 & 3 (although some people do discard the final part, but I feel it has alot of pathos), life changing I wouldn't say so, but it certainly gives you food for thought on how emotions can effect life changing decisions, and their ultimate consequences.

Oh there's a ton of them. Generally a film will change me if it makes me cry. I'd have to say "American Beauty" and "The Notebook" are up there, probably (and strangely enough) "Armaggedon" and "Fifth Element" because I like stories having to do with a father and daugther's relationship, and, of course, love. I know some of those choices are lynch worthy but I watch them for different reasons than most. *shrugs*

I'm sure there's many, but March of the Penguins intensely revived my fascination with nature while reminding me of the innumerable complex processes that take place therein. It brought to life the Darwin in me.

Waking Life has gotta be up there, Control Room as well.

What's so life changing about Triumph of the will?
Sure, it is a good nazi propaganda film, great directing, but.. :/

    Life Without Me

I can't remember the director and I'm pretty sure it was an indie film, but it was amazing.
Try to find this movie, it's really moving.
    You appreciate so much.
