Well, I'm a new member and thought I'd post a little bit about myself. My friend, James, got me turned onto this site because he said there were a lot of science fiction/fantasy nuts as well as other folks on here, so I came by to scope everything out (and since I visit forums all the time, I figure I'll just stay). I'm 23 years old, live in America, and consider myself a writer. I want to be a published author one day and am working hard to make that happen. I'm also front man/rythmn guitarist for a band known as Finiifi (http://www.finiifi.com). I actually write my lyrics in the form of a storyline that a lot of my other medium choices tell bits and pieces of. Love to put everything together. Hm, what else. I love gaming, book reading, watching funny television shows, and generally being a complete and total tard. Need to make people laugh so that's what I'm out to do most times when I'm sitting around. You sound awfully similar to a previous member (PolluxV). Ironically, he left this site so that he could devote all energies to his writings.
Hehe, that wasn't me! I participate in about 4 or 5 different forums (gaming, writing, etc) but I had never come to this one until my friend, James, told me about it. It looked like a pretty good group so I decided to register and start getting to know folks!
Well, SF could sure use a shot of intelligence. Many of our best members have dissapeared (I've been watching this decline for four and a half years!)
