I want an iPod. Bad. But I can't afford one cause I'm not one of those rich kids who just has to mention it in front of their parents, and BAM! iPod appears. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Help me out, sign up for this. Then you can get an iPod too after refering 5 people. Yeah, it sounds stupid but I'm desperate. It actually works though, I've verified it through my friend. They don't screw around with your credit card either. Got the bill yesterday and it only shows $1. SO PLEASE SIGN UP: http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=23436890
Sure it works, but its a pyramid scam. Most people never finish it once they sign up. They get your info and 5 of your friends info and bam, you get SPAM til you are dead. Personally, I don't think its worth it.
Really? I've signed up for a couple of months now and I haven't got any spam. Besides, I'm using an email address that I'll never use again if I do get my iPod. It actually is pretty safe.
if this did actually work, then people would just spend $5 and make lots of puppets to score freebies. i can assure you that there will be some sort of stupid catch once you have 5 people sigend up
"I want an iPod. Bad. But I can't afford one cause I'm not one of those rich kids who just has to mention it in front of their parents, and BAM! iPod appears." then you know what you could do.. buy a better mp3 player, without the brand name. itll be much cheaper
I paid for an ipod with my own money, and it was easy as heck. I saved up two paychecks and bought a used one off of ebay. And it had all of the original owners songs on it. 120$ Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! . 120 is better then spam for the rest of your life, trust me. Earn it, don't trust a company to just give away ipods, because they somehow "earn" the money it takes to get you the ipod. I bet you can guess how Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
No i dont want or need an i pod. Whats so special bout those dam things anyways??? Its just a well marketed mp3 player isnt it??
It has style, and the others are obviously just imitations. Even if they have more space, ect. they just aren't as real seeming. And it is the best in some terms like usability and marketing (a.e everyone thinks an ipod is cool, not so with other rip offs). If you don't care about stuff like that, then an ipod isn't for you.
You say you can't afford an Ipod, but you do have a computer to synch it with, which you can afford, and you do have several hundred (ie thousands of dollars worth) of albums to fill it with? You DO have a credit card, ...... Er, doesn't add up, sorry child.
@Phlogistician: I do have a computer to sync it with. Mind you not mine, but my parents'. It's pretty crappy. It doesn't even have any USB ports! I'll have to use my friends. He has something like 1200 songs on his iPod and in is PC so... And the credit card isn't mine either. It's my dad's. @Everyone Else: Yeah, your comments make sense. But I think you're too sceptical. I was exactly like that 2 months ago. Then my friend actually got an iPod from freeipods.com. I mean, if he can get one within a month, why can't I? It's not like he spent a lot of effort or anything. Plus, no spam, fraud or anything like that. Besides, the iPod looks pretty slick doesn't it? Which other mp3 player can match its popularity or design?
Good point. Still though, if the other companies would stop imitating and start innovating, they might be worthy alternatives. Who wants a poser accesory?
IPOD's suck hairy balls. If you want something cool, go to www.newegg.com and buy an Archos gmini 402. Its like $250 (if not cheaper) and its better than the new ipod. Plays video, 20gb hard drive, everything. You can even hook up your thumb drive to it, and even record music onto it, play videos on a tv, and it has a built in microphone. The sound quality is 10X better than an ipod. Just look up the reviews on cnet.com if you dont believe me. Oh and I have an Archos gmini 402... bought it a week ago. It really is awesome and alot better than an ipod.
Sign up for five different credit cards under five different aliases. Spend $10 and there, my friend, you have yourself a iPod.
gmini looks uglier then an ipod. if thats not enough, almost all of its features were first developed for an ipod. Instead of imitating a sucessful product, these companies need to grow some balls and invent instead of reverse engineering. I don't even like the ipod that much, but my god, if I have to choose between an original or a knockoff, I'll go with the original.
