    Not all muslims have killed, not all muslims want accommodated, not all muslims have destroyed buildings.

    Why should they shut the fuck up? You are now treating them like shit and expecting them to roll over like a spaniel to have its belly rubbed after a good beating. Stop shoving shite in peoples faces and let them do what they want. Maybe western women should give covering up a go. Don't like that idea do you? I didn't think so.

    It's interesting how the West whines about Islam being 'barbaric', using the 'women as second class citizens' as an example. Then Islam whines about the West being barbaric, due to all the sex, nudity, moral depravity, and violence displayed on TV.

    No, one is just a different form of the other. Islam is the religion, Muslim is the follower of said religion. They mean the same thing, essentially: "pertaining to the islamic faith".

    I agree with you in spirit, as anyone familiar with my posts will attest. The monotheistic, patriarchal religions offer a pathetic, oversimplified model of the human spirit. They are worse than useless, judged by the only measure that matters, which is how their members behave in bad times.

    Christians, Muslims, and/or Jews either sat by in silent approval or actually CHEERED for the Crusades, the burning of witches, the institutionalization of slavery, the annihilation of both of the New World's civilizations, the Holocaust, and the nuclear attack on Japan. It would be physically impossible for enough Martin Luther Kings or Mother Theresas to live on this planet to ever make up for that crap. The current state of incessant random violence against civilians by Christians, Muslims and Jews all over the world makes me wish the Rapture were real and it would take all of them so the rest of us could at least try to live in peace.

    Still, banning religions has never worked so that isn't the solution. There's something inside us that religion resonates with and it can't be shut up. People just need more choices. Wherever their book has traveled, the Abrahamists have efficiently wiped out all traces of the older, polytheistic religions in which women were afforded some respect.

    The Wiccans have the right idea. We need a revival of the older faiths. It doesn't matter how silly they are. They can't be any sillier or more dangerous than what we've got. Let's bring back Mithra and Zeus and Odin. Support the spread of Buddhism and the Dao. Don't let the native religions of the Americas, Africa, and Australia die out.

    Abraham was an unbalanced man who heard voices in his head telling him to kill his own son, and he was insane enough that he was going to DO IT! Is this the kind of person whose ideas people should be following? These religions tell you not to trust your common sense! Believe in stuff that is so implausible that you have to suspend everything you know about logic and real life in order to handle it. Turn cognitive dissonance into a formal discipline! Like people are TOO sensible and they should loosen up a little and get really crazy once in a while??? Do you know anybody on earth who should take that advice?

    there are a few things i don't like either, for example "queers". i don't like none of the effing baasards. i think they are depraved,immoral,sick mothers. but then again i won't treat them as outcasts.
    my grandfather was a religious idiot too.

    1) everyone should try to fit into their society, however this doesnt mean they must deny themselves their own way of life.

    2) none, they should be treated the same as everyone else, no better, no worse.

    3) as long as their non-conformity to our society doesnt interfere with anyones rights, then there is no problem, and they should be left alone

    4) no, everyone should be treated equally regardless of religion.

    5) only if they put their duty to their religion ahead of their duty to their conutry. this is applicable to people of all religions.

    6) no, i know many muslims that blend in with everyone just the same, you wouldnt even know the difference until they said a prayer.

    7) our society shouldnt need to adjust, we should be tolerant of everyone regardless. peoples individuality and differences are what make a society unique, if we all changed our ways to suit others then what kind of a world would that be?
