http://www.nature.com/news/2005/051114/full/051114-9.html This may not come to a surprise to everyone, but shit is more nutritious than a burger. That is, bat shit. A type of salamander was found who is normally carnivorous. But this particular salamander decided to go straight to the bat shit which contains more proteins and nutrients than the average burger and eat that instead. Not mentioned in this article is how this knowledge can help our society. We will help them out here. We advice Mcdonalds to make burgers of bat guano instead of ground hoofs and fur as they are doing right now. It will improve the quality of their servings. i'm loving it. I'm sure researchers will find a new and improved way to tackle the quality of chicken nuggets next week. Maybe by subsituting ground chicken beaks with soldified spermwhale sperm. who knows?
I like McDonald's burgers. The grease is delcious. Bat guano isn't very greasy. Besides, gray bats feed on bugs. Eating chitin sucks.
The difference is the taste. "Absolute krap" that tastes like meat if you squint a little bit OR "not so bad krap" that tastes like krap.
I wonder what a month of eating bat shit for breakfast, lunch or dinner will do for you. When that guy nearly died after a month of Big Macs they should have followed it with the guy eating bat shit for a month and compared the two. Why don't the bats eat it?
Brings a whole new meaning to shit eating grin. Nothing wrong with a little rim job. It's actually cleaner than kissing a mouth.
Well, maybe it wouldn't taste so bad if it weren't decomposing at the time you eat it. I suppose it would help if you cook the shit first. And by the way, I think it's more likely because burgers are deepfried therefore they lose most of the nutrients during the frying.
I'd imagine bats do not like to fly to the ground, cash down and be vulnerable to predators. And since they eat a diet of nutritious bugs they might not need the extra nutrition that is still present in their shit. Rabbits eat mainly vegetation and this is more difficult to digest the first time around. To get most out of their diet they can give it a second chance. jummie!
i knew that bat gauno was excelent fertilizer, better even than horse manure but to eat it? yuck. where do you come up with this stuff spurious
It's been known for a long time that guano is nutritious. I would be more interested if a study between human feces and hamburgers was done, although I think hamburgers might be slightly more nutritious.
Maybe, but it doesnt go as well with ketchup! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Excellent thread.
