Ok maybe not to die but I really don't care to hear anything about this man. Why is he in the news everyday? Even the hospital has planned press conferences to report his condition, a number of times a day? For a start he is only an old footballer, he didn't invent a new cancer detection device or anything. He also has someone else’s liver because he was an alcoholic, yet he still carried on drinking. How would you feel if it was your relative who donated him that liver and all he did was abuse it? I believe it is this lack of control over his drinking that has also now put him in hospital. This bloke has had more chances in life than the average wino yet no one here would give a toss about them or their health.
I don't wish him dead, i just wish the media will fuck off and stop going on about it like he is a hero. I'm sure they are doing it to push the issue on how drinking is bad for us OR they are doing it to make us all drink ourselves to death so we can be a big diseased liver hero too.
yeah, i've felt likethat ytoo. on and on about him, whilst over there has been the most awful disaster in Pakistan etc, and all we get is more coverageof old lag Best.
