My Favourite last line of all the books I've read and that I can always quote is Charles Dickens-A Tale of two cities.

"It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known."

In the context of the book it really is an apt ending to one of Dickens most sublime books, if you're not read the book check it out.

"Somewhere in the woods, a little boy and his bear will always be playing." -- The House at Pooh Corner (and I don't know if I've got it quite right)

Still makes me cry. When they tell you growing up sucks, believe them.
