    Hi

How many people here can spell "Schwarzenegger"...?

Anyways... I was wondering around and I saw this:
"Schwarzenegger Argues for White House Run"

    Now... Look at this:
"Schwarzenegger said on NBC's "Meet the Press' that he has been too busy with California's problems to contemplate a future run for the White House. "I have no idea, I haven't thought about that at all," he said. "

O-K... so... he didn't think about running for president and at the same time he says...

Arnold Schwarzenegger, making his Sunday talk show debut as governor, said that he and other foreign-born citizens should be eligible to run for the White House and that President Bush can carry California in November if he does more to help the state.

    Isn't that kinda strange?
I would say he is thinking about being the president at some point... Reminds me of a movie...

Anyhow... Here are a couple of interesting things that he said:
"In San Francisco it is license for marriage of same sex. Maybe the next thing is another city that hands out licenses for assault weapons and someone else hands out licenses for selling drugs, I mean you can't do that," Schwarzenegger said on NBC.

"We have to stay within the law. There's a state law that says specific things, and if you want to challenge those laws then you can go to the court," he said.

    Oh well...

The "anti-christ" part is just a joke...

But it is an interesting speculatiobn, nonetheless....

Knowing america, he will probably be president in a few years time(they voted in bush didnt they??) it reminds me of a scene from the movie demolition man and makes me wonder if thats were arnie got his idea from, theres a section where they meantion schwarzenegger being president, its almost like they saw into the future when they made that movie..... either that or arnie saw it and said 'president what a great idea' (the movie may take the blame if he runs the country)

I wonder if the constitution will be changed...
Btw... in the movie, was Arnie causing trouble in his government? I know that the movie don't show when he was in charge, but do they say anything about it?

Woh woh, slow down. Arnold was asked the question about the presidency by an interviewer, he didn’t just go on TV specifically to say this, and if you had listened to his question and the response, you would have realized that it was just a fluff question, no doubt cooked up by the same sort of mouth breathing geeks like you that think “I wonder if he saw that one movie, hur hur hur”

What you might have asked the question at hand, that this scenario seems to beg “Is the presidency safe from celebrity power” and I would be willing to say that in our media culture, defiantly not.

But you don’t want to know about social issues, you just want to sit at your computer and try to think of another pun that rhymes with terminator, and ejaculate emoticons all over my computer screen.

I really don't think he stands a chance BUT there's always a possibility of it happening, very small chance but a chance.

FYI spymoose i wouldnt have seen the show(im assuming it was on american tv) however i have heard recently he DOES want to run for president, but cant because he was born in a foriegn country, and he wants to wait to see if he enjoys governing california & politics. This thread wasnt started because of any movie, it was a topic of disscussion, the movie was mentioned due to its reference of schwarzenegger as president, you seem to have got hung up on that, we arnt interested in discussing his movies(and the movie wasnt one of his anyways), If you have nothing important to bring to the disscussion then kindly bugger off. And for truthseeker all the movie says is that he was a president and they made a statue/named something after him, i cant remember exactly it just stuck in my mind when it was on a couple nights back, due to the current situation. Guess one day you might find out what he's like as president.(cant be worse than bush)

This was the most ridiculous and pointless post I've ever read in my life.
Did you read the thing at all? Gimme a break!

    I'm not surprised...:
Read Lemming3k's post. He said it all.

I wish you people would stop blaming the American people for President Bush. No, we did not vote him into office. Most Americans [who voted] voted for the other guy. That doesn't have a thing to do with stealing Florida, the recount, or rigging the election, that's just a fact, Gore won the popular vote, more Americans wanted him in office than wanted George Bush in office. It’s unfortunate that popular vote isn’t how our democracy works. As I'm sure we'll find in November, most Americans [who vote] still don't want Bush in office. But agian, who can say if that means he'll stop being our president.

That's bizarre, it was the most relevant post to the topic in this entire thread.

If he didn't have a majority, than why is he the president...?

I understand what he means bout the majority, it was only a small margin between the 2 candidates though, you dont need the total overall majority in america, only the majority in the states worth the most 'points' (based on overall population of that state i think) thats how you get voted in with a less overall majority.

Though the phrase about the earlier post being the most relevent post is rubbish, it didnt discuss anything and was purely insulting, both to the thread and the people in it.

Almost all of you people aren't thinking exactly correct. All that i have read so far makes sense... but it's a fucked up arguement for anything... about Bush.. .tell me right now wtf would you do in office?? No one here is intellegent enough to run for president.. Arnold is not. your not. no one is. And if bush got in by majority vote.. then OBVIOUSLY AMERICAN FUCKING WANTED HIM!!! I don't understand how bush went from his first term of presidency.. being loved. everyone thought "oh how great bush is" and now the war and poof bush is all of a sudden bad?? it's rediculous.

About the constitution.... I don't know if anyone here is able to watch toledo news or saw the nazi demonstration march that happened last saturday, well the nazi's did nothing wrong.. the balck ppl are who broke out and started a riot. Now, what was the point in the demonstration?? Not only to prove how dumb black people can be but also to get one step closer to changing the constitution. If our constitution keeps getting changed by these evil bastards we leave our self in more freedom. And open to the anti-christ. The anti-christ will be a man from another land. middle aged and gains political power. starts from nothing. and on and on.. all of which fits the criteria of Arnold Schwarzenegger (yes i can spell it). It is scary to think, that we have people that think with their heart before their head... and they're the ones fucking everything up.

People stop argueing about this shit on forums... if you want to be heard, then actually do something. i mean my God, i am 15 years old, and probably know more than you freaks do. well except the one dude saying about how "nothing was relevant"... that person seemed cool.. haha anyways. yeah. umm well im out of things to say. Wanna dis me? go ahead... but FIRST check this out and read about our darling arnold... he's pretty fucked up and absolutely disgusting. http://www.arnoldexposed.com/quotes.html

but thats ok, we all make mistakes. i agree with mystech about stop blaming bush for all our problems. we voted him into office, we can't change it... you're not the one behind the desk doing the job, even given the opportunity you wouldn't do any better. so lets sit down and shut up. we still have our money, our freedom and obeisity... so lets just relax and go with the flow.
