Some of the things it has turned up (according to Oklahoma channel 9 news):

- Hindrich's (bomber) spent alot of time at the Mosque by his apartment.
- Plane Ticket to Algeria "at future date" in Pakistani roommates name was found in his apartment.
- 5 others involved but not arrested.
- Hindrichs tried to get into game 3 times at two different gates.
- Hindrichs had a ticket to the game.
- Hinrichs tried to purchase fertilizer earlier in the week.

Now, again I ask...you think these things should not be reported by national media? "

There is always a chance that they are investigating and following other suspects. Keeping the lid down on things until they get everyone. Just a thought.
Or maybe the guy was just some retarded nut who killed himself.

Wait??? Do any of you seriously think the MSM should keep WAITING to report this??? They should keep reporting NYC hoaxes and the status of the Aruba girl?

Meanwhile we have a person that detonated a bomb a 100 yards away from 80,000 people in the middle of the US. Evidence points to this being a failed terrorist act.

So you think it should be reported??? How about that we agree. I am not making any conclusions. Read through the thread. The things I have cited all came from local news reports from Oklahoma.

Look previously in this thread. I've already laid some of it out. Quit acting like I'm claiming I know all the answers. I just think the story should have been covered by MSM. You would rather have them report stunning developments like Demi Moore getting married....correct?

 

The last article I read on this incident, any and all "evidence" of a terrorist plot (or whatever) has been ruled out by not only the FBI, but by the local police investigators as well. That was either in Wednesday's or today's Dallas Morning News.

But where would it end? If they report on EVERY single event that COULD POSSIBLY BE A TERRORIST PLOT/ACTION, then anything and everything would have to be reported! I can't believe that you'd want such garbage reported WITHOUT any evidence to back up any claim or accusation?

What good would it do anyone? I can see a lot of harm, but not any good. In fact, it's my contention that the news already reports much too much crap before they've verified anything ....that leads to lots of mistrust and could lead to some violent retaliation or revenge-style actions.

And yea, I think I would have rather read something about Demi Moore or Britney Spears or Jennifer Lopez .....it would have done me more good AND it wouldn't have the potential to cause any harm.

Let's just be glad that domestic terrorism is confined to Oklahoma as it is to Iraq. Let's take the fight to them Oklahomans, otherwise the rest of our country will be in shambles under the Oklahoman threat!

I don't have any reason to think OU is sweeping anything under the rug. Most of the people on The OU board are bored with the topic.

 

The media reports what they think the public would like to hear. If a person blows himself up and no one gets harmed, thats not news to them, it's a suicide. If a person blows himself up AND takes out 10 people and causes millions of dollars in damage, thats not a suicide, it's a tragedy, and tragedies must be reported by the media.

 

It isn't nearly as close as you think. Probably about 500 ft.
