One day a friend of mine asked ( originally asked by a psychartist): Two girls and their mother lived in a city. One day their mother died of some disease, and the funeral the elder of the sisters saw a handsome young man and had wanted to marry him. As it was her mothers funeral she didnt tell him about but she couldnt discover anything about him when she searched for him. Later she killed her sister. Can anyone tell me why she killed her sister? According to ur answer I can judge what kind of a man are u(according to the psychartist).
her sister approached him at the funeral? although my actual answer would be, because she was mentally unstable.
Her sister had married the man (first thing that came to mind, judge me on this one) OR The man had killed her mother OR Her sister had killed the man OR Her mother faked her own death and had a sex change, and she was the man.
because of a contrived sociological hypothetical situation meant to prove that people who have heard this one before have the mind of a murderer.
I dont know. The fact that she killed her sister may be completely unrelated to the other set of circumstances. peace c20
the 'correct' answer is 'she wanted to see the man again.' answering thus supposedly means you have the mind of a serial killer or something. congratulations.
but then wouldnt she have the same qualms about approaching him at her sisters funeral?and wouldnt she be injail for her sisters funeral.hum.there better be a proper answer for this or i will cry.i am the curious orange.
Tell your psych he needs more then some silly story to judge one's "self." Hell, there's too many variables. Like what kind of jelly made the sister mad enough to kill her sister (strawberry I hope)? I personally would keep using peanut butter till my sister went to the store.
The psychiatrist if he is really smart will say that to attempt to rationalise insanity is in itself an insane thing to do. It is the rational [noun]of something that cannot be rationalised that is insane. any way...my thoughts
She killed her sister so that her sister would not have to go through the pain of another relative (her older sister) dying.
So that she see the man again when he attended the sister's funeral. Yes, I know what this is supposed to mean. And I read the other posts too. I have heard it before, and immidiately gave this answer. I don't think I have the mind of a serial killer. And neither does anyone who knows me think so. different people think differently. Maybe there is another class of people to whom this is applicable. I suspect it has something to do with visual thinking.
definately because the sister became involved with the man, and the elder sister was crazy. had to have been.
There's no right answer. It's not a puzzle for all you cerebral fucks to work through, jacking off thinking about intelligent quotients.
At least a dozen different people have told me this and stated that it is a question asked by psychiatrists, yet I have never heard psychiatrist ask it. It seemed VERY unlikely that ANY professional psychiatrists or psychologists would EVER ask such a question to determine anyone's state of mental health. Even Freud would scoff at the idea that one could determine someone's level of social adjustment, psychopathic tendencies or moral yardstick by their simple answer to such an absurd contrived circumstance. Hmmm.... So I decided to check Snopes... Just as I thought. Not true http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/hoaxes/sister.htm Try and be just a little more discerning about what you pass off as a true story.
