I've read part of this thread including the first message. JB has some good points but I think he's missed something. The problems we have aren't problems of being of different human races. They are the human condition, period. JB is absolutely right to rebel against the demonization of whites for buying and holding slaves. Slavery has been a part of many Earth cultures including those of black Africans. Racism is one more way to persuade people to voluntarily live with delusions and stupid ideas. It is delusion if we think that a given criticism is true of blacks and not whites. There are many stupid ideas out there, some of which are so firmly entrenched, even in the 21st century and the age of enlightenment, that I don't have the time and energy to root them out. It's truly stupid to believe that blacks are any more promiscuous than whites as a race. If anything they just don't lie about it as much, but my belief is that black people have just as restrictive a code of sexual mores as whites if not more. The idea that AIDS is more prevalent among black people comes from a set of very wrong ideas, starting with the idea of HIV disease itself, and we're never going to be loose of the wrong idea of blacks as inherently disease ridden. Most of us don't have the brains to understand enough of the relevant information but we think that what we have heard, by rumor, handed down to us by "the proper authorities", from our preachers, and from our scared white little souls is enough to build a case that is better than we could if we were brilliant scientists. To believe a whole host of wrong-headed notions, and pay attention to this statement, please, Wes, white people, maybe more than any other race, tend to set aside all scientific knowledge and make up a whole other set of rules to cover these cases. Black is white, left is right, the sun is the moon, and one in a million is close to certainty. You would think that at least we would have the decency to admit that we don't know enough to act as if certain notions were certainty. Instead we just crack skulls, crack wise, pretend to be superior, and thoroughly screw up the world with gay abandon when we would have done better to tend to our own knitting and read some books.

I don't like the extreamly high amounts of violent crime that blacks produce. I don't though hate blacks for this, because I understand it is part of there nature. All our diversity cannot always be positive.
