Why doesn't Congress authorize closed bases to be refurbished as national evacuee centers? Evacuees could be flown or bused in, have housing, food and medical attention until the are able to be returned to their homes. Comments?
If the bases are/have been closed, then there won't be any available services on the base ....therefore all of the services would have to be brought in as well as the evacuees. So if that's the case, wouldn't it be more intelligent to take the evacuees to the centers of services that already exist??? Think about it, okay? Baron Max
