As in all armies, sometimes standards and behaviour fall below those expected but to indicate that SAS soldiers went out with the intention of butchering Iraqi civilians is absurd. Just look at Basra 2 days ago, despite being petrol bombed and being physically set on fire the british soldiers did not resort to wild and inaccurate fire with their weapons. very few armies could have maintained their discipline in that situation.
