My favorite scene ever is from the movie Forrest Gump. http://hometheaterinfo.com/forrest.htm It's that scene at sunset in a boat, where Lieutenant Dan finally thanks Forrest for saving his life. I couldn't find the script.... but that's by far my favorite scene ever.... And then there's that one in Braveheart, where the guys show their asses to their enemies... There's a section like this in Empire magazine, with a new best scene from a particular movie every month. Anyway, you can't really go past Napoleon's awesome dance scene from Napoleon Dynamite can you?
In HACKER: Legacy of Blood, when Sam Lloyd, after getting lit up by an AK-47, falls down, and the guy who fired the gun runs a few feet in the other direction, trips, and looks back, and Sam's gone. Then, he appears on the other side of the guy and blows his head open with Deagle. Such a "how the fuck'd he get there that fast? And futhermore, how'd he survive such a volley?" Awesome-ly Action-y scene. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Whatever. To each his own. I like it when people get lit up and survive in movies...Halloween 1,2, & 4 for instance.
In "A Beautiful Mind " when the brilliant mathematician (John Nash) wins the award and his devoted wife applauses.
Good one Monia.... Another one... "Hasta La Vista, Babe"......Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Which movie was that again? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Yaba Daba :m:
Hahaha, yes! That movie was so goddamn good. The rose box with shotgun and then metal and oh my god yes!
There's so many great scenes but in the movie "Plesentville" when the first time color starts to appear for before that moment the entire movie was in black and white and at that moment a realization happens so it was a very real enlightenment.
One of my favourite is in "Un Chien Andalou" where that woman is standing with a box (in which in there is a cut off hand) on a street and cars pass her. Then one hits her. Of course that scene is for seeing not telling.
From the movie 'Donnie Darko'.... The part whem they're having the Halloween party at his house and he starts seeing the portals in everyone. 'Under the Milkyway' by The Church started at that perfect time, too. I cried.....
In Return of the King when Theoden is making his speech and the Rohirrim is screaming death. Then the sight of all 6,000 Rohirrim charging over the hill. That combined with the music brings chills to me everytime.
I like horror movies these days. But my favorite scene is in Armegeddin where actor bruce willis decides to stay behind on the astroid and hands Ben Affleck the NASA emblem that said "for all of mankind".
