and when i was dating back into the past, i didnt mean the eras before North America was even discovered, i was dating back to more modern times. or world war eras.

but the only things i can think of how France benefitted the states would be
1) The Louisiana Purchase
2) The supply shipments of the war for independence.

but, I didn't think the whole site would take to such offense.
But our greatest allie, Great Britain, has always helped us when ever we are in time of need. So i was comparing France to Great Britain, but no country will ever add up to them.

On the subject of America.

Americas war of independence.

British people went to america to live, after a while they decided they did not want to pay taxes to the king, so we had a little war, then they called themselves americans.

The french tried to get britain to commit massive troop numbers to fight for america, by siding with the americans, there plan being if the british were foolish enough to fall for it, was to invade the uk while all our troops were fighting for america.

But as usual the dumb ass french, were wrong we were not willing to commit all our forces in this fight.

The french did not *ucking care less about the americans, britain was there goal.

America had every right not to pay taxes to a king thousands of miles away, and eventually the united kingdom decided it was not worth fighting for, as this would leave the country wide open to attack by the spanish and french, who always had a hard on over the uk.

America owes france jack shit, for there independence.

At the end of the day it was brits fighting brits, our own civil war.

In my view the brits in america deserved independence,and the distance involved to fight by ship. meant it was a war the uk could never commit too, so the uk saw sense, or else if they had not the uk might be part of france today.

French folly, french arrogance, knows no bounds.

France is only a true friend to France, there biggest fear is the english language, and its worldwide dominance, they seem to think french should be the universal language,

Shintaro Ishihara is known in Japan for his outspoken remarks

A group of French speakers in Japan are suing the governor of Tokyo after he described French as a failed language.


Mr Ishihara is accused of saying he was not surprised French did not qualify as an international language, as it was "a language which cannot count numbers".

"I have to say that it should be no surprise that French is disqualified as an international language because French is a language which cannot count numbers," he said.

What a amazing language you have, when you can come up with a word that decribes 94 without having to say 4 x 20 + 14 = 94, then criticise other languages until then admit it, the french language, like french food,& french people, are the garbage of europe.

And by the way concorde and the eurotunnel, was desinged by both the uk and france, not france alone.

Concorde was the fastest ever passenger plane, but a financial disaster.
and the eurotunnel opened up the uk to illegal immigrants big time, so it was another disaster.

Last year alone 250,000 europeans apllied to work in the uk legally, and thats not counting the millions doing it illegally.

I am all for blowing up the eurotunnel, so we can leave all the rif raf, and garbage in europe, where it belongs.

We have a name for numbers from 0 to 16, then we use the usual way... but I will not lose my time explaining it to you, you would not understand! Maybe not because of your brain but because you don't really want to know. You just read and believe... Anyway we don't need to use "and" in our numbers... (one hundred and thirty five = cent trente cinq).

Concorde was a financial disaster... but there's still no such planes in the world! We can be proud of it, whatever you think about it! ("financial, financial, financial..." typical from american and english...)

The british can not stand the french, never did never will,
Brits go to france for cheap booze, and cigarettes, end of story.

Not for french croissants, you could kill a man, with one of them, if you hit him with it,they are harder than concrete.

France is a failed country, there economy is a shambles propped up by massive eu funding for there 365 days a year striking farmers, the whole country is on strike, euro disney was a disaster there, like everthing else.

The brits made the mistake, of making partners with them, with concorde, and the eurotunnel, hence the reason they are finacial disasters, everthing france does is a disaster, be it wars, or food, or just opening there dumb ass mouths,
president chirac case in point, everytime he opens his mouth, the world laughs at his folly and arrogance, and rudeness.

Baguette. The french bread you are thinking of is called a "Baguette" (sp?).
The croisasant isn't even western European...it originated in the balkans during the 1600s.
