Heh, I was trying to elude to exactly that as a reason as to why that Brazilian would run if guns were drawn on him, but I didn't know if he was from Rio so I decided not to, lol.

I gotta agree with Baron Max on this one. Don't run from the police INTO a subway soon after a bombing wearing a heavy coat unless you want to die. This guy gets the Darwin award of the year for stupidity.

 

Anyone know where a picture is of this Brazilian guy while dead? I'm curious as to what his "heavy coat" looks like.

Looks like a normal jacket to me. Is that a windbreaker style or leather? I was expecting something more heftier since so much emphesis is being put on his "heavy jacket" as a means of why he was shot. Are the terrorists there all of a sudden upgrading from huge, hefty, traveller backpacks to blow people up with to plastic explosives that fit inside tight jackets?

On the day of the killing the guardian ran a selection of eyewitness reports one witness recalls seeing wires running out of the dead mans jacket.
A quick seach across the net reveals...

"I saw these police officers in uniform and out of uniform shouting 'get down, get down', and I saw this guy who appeared to have a bomb belt and wires coming out and people were panicking and I heard two shots being fired."

Hey this is the dibble we're taking about. If it looks like a wog and runs like a wog then it's er.. a wog.

Saw the dudes brother on telly today...
He seems very interested to know why the police had only the front door of the property in question under surveillance. Y'see his brother lived in flat 17 while the baddies lived in flat 21. The lobby and entrance were shared and it seems the dibble were unable to identify where anybody leaving the property actually came from.

Well.. we actually have a quite distinct look, if you are familiar enough. Tough we are quite latino, ya know? Sometimes we look more african tough.... and, of course, sometimes we have a touch of european genes. So in other words- we are a mess

Funny thing is I'm Half arab, so If I get shot by police:

1. All the muslims in the area would get violent when bbc told them what racial minority I even fractionally belong to.

2. The policeman chasing me wouldnt be able to keep up long enough to shoot straight at the end.

3. I applied for a job in the russian FSB so that wouldnt help them much either.
