Why Blacks?

""The white, liberal doo-gooders"", that race... is your understanding of english a bit strange here? I was separating "The white, liberal doo-gooders" from just "White," in general see? Like the difference between "Black" in general and "Bad muthafuckas".... I'm not exactly mr. equal opportunity; but lumping together and entire race is almost never a good thing.

I was illustrating that while there may well be a large group of morons who are black, the same is also true for every other race. Including white. Each with it's own quirks.

I find that any large enough group of humans is retarded, if taken as a whole.

If you think blacks are not equal to whites, J.B, then shouldn't they be held to different standards?

How can you say they are not equal and then expect equal behavior?

 

They are already held to a different standard, affirmitive action laws are just some of the proof of that. I don't expect them to behave in a equal manner, I don't see how that could happen. You yourself don't expect equal behaviour from blacks too, you have made many excuses for their behaviour. You say that blacks act the way they do because of the way whites have treated them, I say it is just their nature. But, at least we agree they do not behave in a equal manner?

What I'm saying is their are differences to point out, and not all of them will be positive, lets not hide from or get angry when someone like myself wants to point them out.

 

Behaving in an unequal manner does not mean that race is the primary cause, I was just assuming so for the sake of argument.

Let's assume that there are differences. Are they really negative?

I suggest this. That blacks release their anger locally, at the source of their immediate frustrations, and that this is more healthy than "white" culture. In "white" culture, we pretend to be more civilized, but the anger only builds up to such a degree that it finally explodes in worldwide wars. Since war isn't illegal, soldiers don't go to prison.

We are both equally uncivilized, but white people make a better pretense that this isn't so.

Then why complain?

A better response, if you think that's true, is to encourage them through better education programs and scholorships.

Europeans benefitted from an ideal environment for agriculture, that is what gave them the free time and resources to invent guns. Guns gave the europeans an advantage over a larger enemy equiped with spears. Greed gave them the idea of superiority. In fact, Africa was home to many great civilizations that traded from the west coast all the way to the Indian Ocean.

This is a real question, by the way, not much of a history buff, but can't think of any. most of northern africa isn't black, I thought, and I haven't heard of anything that coudl be genuinely called a civilization to the south... But like I said, I really don't know.

 

That's the real, non-pc reason for affirmative action, isn't it? Assimilating blacks into the culture properly to reduce the ammount of problems from them, right?

To believe what spidergoat says one would have to believe that blacks were some how more intelligent thousands of years ago, then they are today.

The absurd notion that Ancient Egypt was a product of black ingenuity is now being widely disseminated in the schools. Though scholars know this is a blatant lie, they justify the deception by assuming it will boost the "self-esteem" of Black children.

 

...Ancient egyptians weren't black... from what I remember they dealth with Nubia alot, surely there was some ammount of interbreeding, but surely not enough to make it a black nation...

Inequality is the reason for affirmative action, but we would disagree as to the basic cause of that inequality. The purpose is not to reduce the amount of problems from them, but to combat the lingering effects of racism so that we all benefit. Once racism is no more, affirmative action will no longer be required.

Idiot, humans are as smart as they always have been. Civilizations come and go. Climate changes force migration. Wars wipe out mighty kingdoms.

We already tallked about this. White people used their guns to enslave black people and the wealth went to Europe. Modern people are still benefitting from this wealth. Pay the inhabitants of Haiti for all their labor the white people took for free, and I'm sure they would be a prosperous as you are.
