Very suspicious I may venture that for many years America employed atomic submarines to plant tapping equipment on undersea cables of other nations. One such unit is on display in a Moscow museum. There have been cases where the taps interfered with the cables, leading to their discovery. l wonder .......
Brian Foley's creedo: "Wherever possible, whenever possible, for whatever the crime, first and foremost, accuse the US if it's even remotely possible to do so!" Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Baron Max
Maybe the cable just broke. What would the motive and or purpose be for the United States of America to sabotage a Pakistani cable? If anyone sabotaged it India would probably be the most likely culprit as they hate each other.
but america could profit from a war between them, they always find a way to profit from war. india would be the likely culprit, no-one in pakistan would think US did it for quite some time.
America can also profit from NO war between India and Pakistan. In fact, I'd say that we could profit MORE without any war at all ...if things were peaceful, Wal-Mart could move in and the profits would soar! Baron Max
Are you kidding? No Wars? Hush your mouth child! How would the Bushes and there little band of Arms Dealers make there billions!? You speak blasphemy Baron Max! To the stockade with you!
ooo, good call, Brian, you may be right. Afterall Osaama's in Pakistan, right? Accuse them of what? An effective CIA operation? Maybe they were planting a tap on all of Pakistan's internet providers.
If we aren't spying on Pakistan then someone isn't doing their job. I would be very pissed indeed if I learned that we haven't been.
you shouldnt be spying at all. jsut because they wont let your storm troopers into their conutry, doesnt mean they are hiding bin laden, they are searching for him thereselves, but they made the long needed stand against you that no other country had the balls to do. last time i checked it was illegal to spy on the government or even the individuals in any country other than your own
Brian; Good to hear from you again buddy, after such a long pause. The TNT-avatar people on the other forum I've been posting to have got nothing on you, man! I'm with Clockwood on this one. If the US broke the line while they were trying to tap in, so what? Re: Wal-Mart - don't they sell assault weapons in some states? Or is that K-Mart? Anyway, doesn't that kind of make both of your arguments correct? Wal-Mart can cruise on in, and then sell arms to the locals. Everybody's happy.
Thanks mate , heres to more good debates ........Cheers I just saw a news item thought about it and just ventured a theory , its worth noting that this Sub-Continent is becoming an important region in which the EU , Russia and the US are vying with each other over trade . Thats the basis of my thread , and agreed so what all nations spy .
Id say the important intel option would be monitoring diplomatic , military and business internet activities .
A better solution was the british one in WWI: own all the cables, so no need to tap them. Just read the messages sent.
that was in the days of little cable traffic it was affordable . Today such an immese global system would be to expensive for any one country to own .
the wireless undergronud is the place to be if you are trying to avoid taps. the admin on each transmitter can check who is logged on and block any government signals
There are many groups/people which like to cut majour undersea cables... and its not a nusence for it to happen in the indian ocean as its filled with treasurehunting and salvage boats which have the equiptment to dive deep enough to reach these cables... It's happened many times before, sometimes oldfashioned governments in such countries cut it themselves. nothing to blame the Cia for.
