    OK, as I said, she checked with her supervisor.....this should be common knowledge. The link on the bottom of the page that supposedly showed where the statisttic came from did not reference smoking, tobacco, or cigarettes......bub.

    Surgeon General's report, with sources from 2004

    http://www.cdc.gov/tobacco/sgr/sgr_2004/index.htm

    Here's a list of reports all having to do with the harmful effects of smoking, and ALL backed up by scientific data;

    http://www.umdnj.edu/rspthweb/bibs/smoking.htm

    Australian study of blindness caused by smoking;

    http://www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/bhcv2/bhcarticles.nsf/pages/Smoking_and_eye_disease

    An actual study of the emissions from cigarettes;

    Statistics and facts from Scotland;

    http://www.smokefreescotland.com/facts/facts.html

    Links to a study done on how smoking damages DNA and links to the data.

    http://www.greenfacts.org/tobacco/2-tobacco-smoking/7-passive-smoking-effects.htm

    A British study on the links between smoking and cancer;

    I could post a million of these, and it won't convince you otherwise because you are committed to smoking. This entire thread is your pointless attempt to justify stupidity at it's greatest level. 80% of the posts in this thread are from you, and are from statistics you got from different sources and through together to make them look better. Anyone can manipulate numbers, it's very easy to do. But I know that one guy with no scientific research done on the effects of smoking certainly doesn't know jack shit in comparison to all these people who have. Want to keep smoking, that's your choice... but don't try to convince anyone else it's harmless.
