I Hate Atheists

This is like the "I Hate Christians" thread:

Instead it's about atheists.

1. Atheists are resentfully anti-religious.
2. Atheists incorrectly believe that they are not a religion.
3. Atheists incorrectly believe in the ‘absence of belief’ myth.
4. Atheists are self righteous.
5. Atheists impose their beliefs and doctrine upon others more than any other religion.
6. Atheists are blind fanatics.
7. Atheists argue for the sake of winning without intention of coming to conclusion.
8. Atheists cry and complain about anything religious.
9. Atheists are emotionally unstable.
10. Atheists discriminate against religious.
11. Atheists are control freaks.
12. Atheists are closed minded and ignorant.
13. Atheists have little grip on reality.
14. Atheists have no concept of logic.
15. Atheists only wish to attack without intention of coming to conclusion.

I don't see a point to this. You can accuse them of this and just cause more arguements. Maybe give some reasons. This is as bad of a generalization as referring to all Christians. Plus it is not right to just create a thread to bash someone. The i hate Christians thread was locked, this one should be too.

P.S. this is coming from a theist, Christian to be closer.

well, i would say atheist do have a sense of logic.
They use logic, as opposed to doctrine. They also use science as a tool in their debates, which (unlike an irrelevant book written 2000 years ago and translated through 4-5 languages) can contribute to a conversation.

"god" is just like santa claus except his presents are supposed to come AFTER you die.....

 

The claims don't seem to work very well. Perhaps it's just the lack of any subtlety, and any further comment doesn't seem worthwhile.

 

I assume that you are referring to the Bible. If you are, it has also been translated directly from Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic. Some translations are just paraphrased, but other can tend to hold their own against many old writings. Also, discoveries such as the Dead Sea Scrolls show that it has been accurately translated for centuries fron the original languages. If you weren't talking about the Bible though it is still a good thing to know.

 

To be honest I don't really see the problem. Cool Skill you are aware that you could rid the world of all atheists right now don't you? All you have to do is show that your god exists and we'll all be extinct.

I said exactly the same thing to the Leprechaun God Worshippers just the other day. Are you saying I should just believe their claims? Do you? No? So you're a leprechaun god atheist?

See, we're all atheists at heart - you've just accepted one invisible entity as true while disbelieving the other million. How does that quote go....

Great quote. I finally understand why atheists dismiss God. We had a huge debate in "Who created God?" This quote is so true and good to know for Christians to grasp an atheists point of view.

Unfortunately, atheists will never understand why we Christians choose to be irrational, until they see the value of being a friend of God.

The live of athiests are of that of a group of microbial insects,they never see the bigger picture. All i will say is that if you believe that your existance is due to pure randomenness and that there is no real purpose of your existance then realy u have no right to claim any morality just like the insects and bacteria wich we kill every day with out even realising. you have no right to claim any justice or recognition, why ? because your life is worthless,your existance is on par with not even plants because even they were creations of GOD, but rather perhaps ..lets see,the shape of animal manure..think we would agree there is abit of randomness and chance there. !. Is your life on par with animal excrement ? is that what your saying !!

Johnahmed: I could argue that the religious sacrafice any possibility of getting something done in this life in exchange for the hope of something in the next. Its like a starving man praying for food in the next life (which may well not exist) when he could be out hunting.

On top of that, they go out and kill or subjugate those who believe in a different imaginary friend. They have nothing to gain from it at all. Only the blood of a few more infidels/heathens/etc.

This is a prime example of: 1. Atheists are resentfully anti-religious.
Most people don’t care to notice something on movies or wherever when somebody says God or Jesus. Of course, because it is irrelevant. Most people are not so petty to give thought to any media or situation that mentions prayer or God. Only the atheists make huge deals out of nothing. It is rationalized that saying “My God” is illogical, and then rationalized that it shouldn’t be. How about rationalizing that it is no big deal? Only an atheist would take notice of saying something because of their resentment.
