    I understand what you mean, but is this not just terminology?;

    Some say we access the unused power of the brain, some say our higher selves, some the sub conscious and some externalise this as god. But whether they know it or not aren't all these people really saying the same thing?

    Meditation doesn't become amazing overnight, you have to work at it, practice clearing your mind, and relaxing your body. If try and feel your third eye in the centre between your eyes, you might feel something. I find that when I meditate my body takes over and my limbs move by themselves, slowly, inch by inch. It's really strange, am I normal? Lol, just kidding. I think that everyone will experience meditation in a different an unique way, which suits them as a person.

    Give it a go people!

    I hope some day you will see from your third eye that there is no such thing as a third Eye and it was all a waste of time.

    Don't attempt it when you are drowsy.

    Running on the spot for a minute or two and then stretching the muscles at the back of the thighs for a few minutes before sitting meditation will help a lot.

    Meditation is not a state of relaxation - sleep is a state of relaxation. Nor should it be a state of tension or restlessness.
    Ideally, it should be a state of effortless stillness.

    How about doing it in morning after a bath.

    There are many forms of yoga. It is important to remember what yoga means, "union with God". All the different techniques are there to guide us to silence. Using a sleep mask and ear plugs will help you to experience outer silence. That's when the real fun begins. Remember, the average person can keep their mind silent for six seconds. The best technique I have found for silencing the mind after using different yoga exercises to balance the energy body is to simply mentally say "sush" to the mind when it begins to talk. With daily practice you will be able to keep your mind silent for longer periods of time. This is when you begin to experience true yoga.

    zion/ try to build your own place in your mind it does not matter what it looks like or where it is, it is all up to you, it can be deep under water, or in space, there is no trouble getting there ever, when you meditate, you can go anywhere any place and do anything, just relax, find a comfortable place quite calm. try sitting on the ground, and feeling the vibrations, through your body, then drift off to your place, if you fall asleep set a watch alarm for fifteen mins, then gradually extend the time over a few weeks, five hours of meditation a day really brings you back to life, also breathing right,. in martial art a master can breath four times a miniute, one breath every fifteen seconds, try to breath one breath every seven seconds, for a few weeks then extend the breaths, most humans dont use there full lung capacity,but when you do, and you are in a state of meditation, you are not bound to anything. you can even fly

    And now for something really different! *__-
    For any interested in mandala meditation, I have stumbled upon some interesting mandala! Even if you aren't into mandala, you will not be dissappointed. This stuff is intense (transportational!)! For 'your' mandala, just scroll through the page until you see something that 'touches' you with its 'depths'...
    Peace...
