Robinson Crusoe on Mars. It's an older one from 1964, and rather obscure, but it is actually really good! It's about Mr. Crusoe, an American astronaut, getting stuck on Mars and needing to find a way to eat, breathe, drink, etc. I wonder if it will ever go to DVD...
Yep, 'Robinson Crusoe on Mars' is going to be a favourite if it ever comes out on DVD. I have such fond memories of it, having seen it once back in the 1980s. I recall snow storms and winter wonderland on the Red Planet... probably a bit out dated by all that we now know about Mars. Another favourite of mine is 'Silent Running' which I proudly own on DVD Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Attack of the Flesh-Eating Subterranean Bog-Monster from the Center of the Earth and Beyond the Moon: Apocalyptic Revenge! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Ok, so it's not soo old, but still: http://www.archive.org/details/bog_monster p.s. I remember watching the first sci-fi film ever, it was shot in early 1900s I think "Trip to the moon" or something like that
Don't forget 'Laser Blast' the 70's classic thriller about two dinosaur alien astronauts persuing a renegade alien crazy dude with a laser gun that makes your 'eye shadow' ( if you like to wear it that is) run wild in this movie. Okeydoke
This movie may not be old, but it's pretty ... interesting: Buckaroo Banzai, I believe it's called. Anyone seen it? Ridiculous premise, horribly boring to watch more than once, strange casting.
