I'm just curious as to exactly what everyone's political philosophy is.

    http://www.speakout.com/VoteMatch/quiz.asp?quiz=Pres2004

    1. Select "Political Philosophy" under where it says "VoteMatch Quiz.
    2. Select yer opinion on the listed issues.
    3. Click "Score the quiz!".

Ya'll be taken to a results page with yer score and a political diamond with a red dot showing where ya lie on in.

    4. Copy and paste the URL for yer results and reply

Also, if ya don't mind doing so, state yer religion and which presidential candidate ya voted or would have voted for. Just curious, is all. This is optional - don't do it if ye'r uncomfortable doing so.

Here's my stuff as an example:

    http://www.speakout.com/VoteMatch/p...3=2&q14=4&q15=1&q16=2&q17=5&q18=2&q19=4&q20=1

    Religion: Pantheist
    Would have voted for: Kerry

P.S. Mods, I'm not sure if this should go into "About the Members" or "Politics".

Big surprise. Actually, I've taken a longer version of this before and fell right between conservative and libertarian.

    Hard core liberal

    Religion: none

    Voted for Kerry (duh).
Pretty simplistic quiz. But you can't expect much nuance out that few questions. Three strikes for instance. California enacted a stupid one. People have been sent up for stealing a pair of shoes as their third strike. Violent felonies, sure. But not relatively innocous property crimes. That is what judges and prosecutors are for, to make the punishment fit the crime. You can't fit that opinion in to a yes or no quiz.

The questions are biased and loaded with only black or white answers available - hardly an accurate portrayal of one's own politics.

Do ya happen to remember where it was?

Black-and-white? Not really. You could strongly agree, agree, be neutral, disagree, or strongly disagree with the statement. There seems to be sufficient gray.

    Personal Score: 58%
    Economic Score: 50%

    Moderate Libertarian Liberal

Why is it a couple questions aren't taken into account for one's political philosophy even though we can answer them? And there's a couple questions shown on the last page that has an answer I picked for it yet I never got the option to.
