http://www.midnighteye.com/reviews/juon2.shtml "Juon 2 is, relatively speaking, the most strongly plotted entry in the series." That's the biggest problem with the grudge...there wasn't much plot. There are four Juon, the grudge(s) in the Japanese verson, so they'll probably make a sequel, just as they did with the Ring and the Ring two.
Bleed: Holy satan, Bleed C'mon, I'm talking hacked to bits with chainswaws or beat to death with nunchuks- I want to see Gere's or Robert's or Newman's or Geller's skull crack as commonly as the extras or the sidekick's. And die right in front of me. That. You're just left wondering and theorizing when and if they're murdered. I think the Japs are a little more wise and would let you see their starring role murdered in cold.blood.
some of it was so so. the noises.. were cool. the ending sucked. they keep pumping out supposed horror flix and theyre all props and gimmicks. its really disappointing in general
Just saw it yesterday. I was really expecting more out of it; the previews were so scary. I loved the part where the dead Yoko was walking around with her jaw missing.
I've yet to find a horror movie that scares me, heres hoping someone makes one, oneday. the grudge is about a scary as a feather duster.
