Tough to say. US Census surveys have it broken down in so many different categories to check off...

    Curious
    Bi-Curious
"I SWEAR I thought he was a girl!"
    "Had a fling"
    "Once in Prison"
"Experimented in College ....but just ONCE!"
    Gay
    REALLY gay
    Flaming
    Charles Nelson Riley

Did you want figures for all of them, or just "Gay"?

Well, you know, since gays can't get married and are sluts anyway, it's hard to tell, what with cohabitating in San Francisco one week, and then crossing the border into Sausolito the next ....

Why do I hear a Primus song?

I did find a book review at the Seattle Times website that suggests a nationwide population of 4-6 million gays, which figure is apparently drawn from the 2000 census.

GayDemographics.org suggests there are over 600,000 gay couples in the U.S., over 92,000 of which are in California. A 2001 article from Minnesota Public Radio suggests a statistical coincidence between gay population centers and high-tech industry that looks more to broader cultural factors.

None of these, however, offer raw estimates for cities. Such numbers, it seems, are harder to come by.

I also forgot: "I'm not gay, but the guy I raped in high school was."

I was that guy and "forcing" me to stick it in your butt while I called you my little manboy was a little unsettling.
By the way you never call me.

Does it matter? I mean, homosexual or not.

Well, if you were searching for a community in which to raise children...

Good point. Diversity is an important element of childhood socialization.

I suppose if that is your concern, chasing the rainbow, then SF is the place you want to be: On the road

I live in the Seattle area. There's no need to look in SF to raise children. Good role models are still aplenty up here.
