HELP! making web "free" web page.

It has been ages since I last made a web page....

But I realy want to make one again!

Does anyone have a link to a website that will offer FREE webhosting.....????


Something without auto ADs..... or a low limited space?

And / Or will offer free FTP uoloades or other easy way of uploading HTML and other files?

I am looking for the best in FREE WEB HOSTING!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

I agree with Avatar, you probably won't get what you search for free. I have free webhosting with a small ad-bar at the top and a limited space of 60 MB, but no traffic limitations, and I think that such an amount of space is quite sufficent. Also, files can be uploaded via browser.

www.freewebs.com works pretty well for me, although the limits get a little annoying.

There are enough, the only problem is finding them.
A Canadian, angeltowns used to give 5MB (2 years ago or so), apparantly that has been increased to 50MB, max filesize is only 500k though, but that should be enough. Take a look.

As you may know, .tk domain names can be registered for free: http://dot.tk/ Their dns servers seem to resolve slowly sometimes though.

 

Meh, whatever you do, DON'T take any webhosting with 500MB offer with it.... most of such web providers are families, and they suck.

 

Out of curiousity, what do you intend to do with the space and how big are the files you would be uploading? - That'll make a provider easier to search for.

Also what kind of files would you be uploading? - html?, php?, wav?

I think what he might mean is that there is a webhosting company that utilises "Domain Name Parking", where anyone with a domain name can allow people to use their domain to have webspace (and/or e-mail). This means when you get space with that particular domain, you are actually getting space with one large company thats just pushing their "market share up" for their portfolio to look good (take for instance, advertising banners across such networks).

We've had many posts on what to look for in the past with "Free" domains, it's totally dependent on what you want hosted. A normal webpage could be placed on any of the normal free webhosting companies that crop up, however they will lack certain things that you get when you pay for space. (SQL databases, CGI scripting, Bandwidth limits, non anti-image leeching etc)

Sorry this forum isn't a "One to One" site for picking up people around the globe, you might want to try another site for that. As for the women in the UK, I don't think they take too kindly being manipulated into "position" for another man, if you want to find one over here in the UK you'll just have to let them know your available and the right type of guy for them.
