Very Good You've hit the nail on the head. In many ways the antichrist will be just like Christ. That's sort of why he/she/it is called the antichrist. What you miss of course is that there will be differences. I could make a list of the similarities between evolutionism and creationism, but that wouldn't show their glaring differences.
I am not completely postive, but I am pretty sure that Christ is supposed to come very close to when the Anti-christ is. When Jesus comes, he will take his "followers" up to heaven, and then leave. That is when panic will happen, perhaps searching for people. Short after, the anti-christ comes into play, people think it is Christ or that they have another chance, but we don't.

"Antichrist" is a bit of an oxymoron. If "christ" didn't exist, how could there be an "antichrist"? It's like talking about the "anti-Santa Claus", or an "anti-Unicorn".
