    Paul donates to sciforums, I don’t know how much as Pofiry won’t tell us but it a enough to have Porfiry veto any claim to close this thread.

    SUPERNOVA FROM EXPERIMENTATON AT FERMILAB

    Many, many thanks to everyone for your prompts actions in this most tragic concern.

    A statistical approach to Supernovae generation in our galaxy may also be advocated. The expectation per galaxy is for there to be approximately one
    Supernova for 100 years of elapsed time. The last observation of Supernova generation in this galactic lens was by Johannes Kepler in 1604 AD.
    We thus have an extended temporal gap to 2004 of four hundred years. Let us persevere and keep this frequecny at the current low rate for Type Ia Supernova generation. It should be remarked that the current postulation for Type Ia Supernova generation is to have a white dwarf accrete hydrogen from a nearby hydrogen dominant solar envelope until it exceeds the Chandrasekar limit at 1.4 solar masses and then implodes to form a Type Ia Supernova. Alas, this hypothesis is not supported by the observational evidence since there is no trace of hydrogen at maximum light for Type Ia Supernovae. It is, therefore, hypothesized, that Type Ia Supernovae are created by high-energy physics experimentation by creatures much like ourselves as it has also been observed that some of the Type Ia Supernova can deflagrate at as little as .7 solar masses. The references are given earlier in this thread for these observations.

    ALL BEST WISHES FOR A HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

    Yours sincerely,

    Paul W. Dixon, Ph.D.

    Well, I just read the first four pages of this thread, then had to leap ahead to find out if I was still alive or had been incinerated in a Type 1a Supernova. This beats the hell out of Earth Science! Thank you all for the best entertainment on any forum this month.

    Would be a pretty cold turkey for thanksgiving if the boys at Fermi fried it

    SUPERNOVA FROM EXPERIMENTATION AT FERMILAB

    Many, many thanks to everyone for your prompts efforts int his most tragic concern.

    It may also noted that the photometric properties of Type Ia Supernovae are sufficiently stable as to be used as standard candles to estimate distances for purposes of, for instance, establishing the Hubble constant for the Universe's rate of expansion. Thus, in spite of broadly different stellar environemts as well as low medium and high red-shift locations, the magnitude of Type Ia Supernova remains uniquely equivalent to each other. These events are of the greatest magnitude, as well, having luminosity approximately equal to their host galaxy at the time of maximum light. Do we really wish to take the chance of extinguishing all of our hopes and dreams in a vast cataclysmic explosion via generation of a Type Ia Supernova through the creation of a transition towards de Sitter space via high-energy physics experimentation?

    All the children will thank you for your prompt actions on their behalf and may the good God have mercy on our souls.

    WISHING YOU THE HAPPIEST OF HOLIDAYS!!!

    Yours sincerely,

    Paul W. Dixon, Ph.D.

    Simplistic Kook Formula:

    K = S/((Bs^1.5)+O)

    Or

    Kookdom = Science / (Bullshit^1.5) + Obsession)

    Rate each post by:
    Science: Does it say a scientific fact or theory that is generally accepted?
    Bullshit: Does it say erroneous and/or illogical statements?
    Obsession: How many posts are made about the same subject? How obsessed is the accused about a subject or idea?

    Give one point for a correct answer. Can also take a random survey of say 20 posts from accused. Make sure you calculation with +/-22% error for each value.

    A score below 1 means you’re a Kook!

    The inverse of the kook score subtract 1 is a rating of Norvals. Named after a Local kook Craterchains Norval:

    N = (1/K)-1

    With this any score of Norvals below zero means you’re not a Kook and any score above means you’re a fool of kookdom by integers of how kooky you are.

    Paul W. Dixon for examples scores

    0.024367189=95/((238^1.5)+227)

    ~40.0=(1/0.024367189)-1

    That means Paul W. Dixon is a Kook King with a Norval Score of 40!

    This is indeed disturbing news Electric Fetus. There is a growing concern amongst a small, but elite group of particle physicists that individuals with a Norval factor in excess of 53.6 may spontaneously implode, creating a quasar from surrounding space time. In view of Paul Dixon's already high Norval level it seems that the responsible thing to do would be to write to our governments, the United Nations and the CEO of Wendy's. All the children will thank us if we take prompt action on this.

    Most definitely these measures you ask for should be taken, for all our sakes! Why at a level of 40 Norval the stupidity field within his imitate proximity should be at lethal levels! In fact he has already passed the thresh hold level of Norvals were his stupidity field will be powerful enough to cause unanimous objects within close proximity to him to begin to talk, sing and dance!

    Many thanks to eveyone for your prompt actions in contacting your
    members of Congress in this most tragic concern.

    Fermilab has now been reactivated thus all of our lives are at hazard as
    is clearly explicated in this thread!

    All the children will thank you for your prompt actions on their behalf and may the good God have mercy on our souls.

    WISHING EVERYONE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

    Many thanks to everyone for your most prompt notification of your members
    of Congress in this most tragic concern.

    The values attained in the CDF at Fermilab are now posted as 47.93E30 luminosity with energetics at some 2(979.66) GeV. Thus the values posted for the CDF at Fermilab now are at approximately at the midpoint of the previous run at Fermilab. These values are those already approximately equal to those found at the point origin of the Universe, i.e., the Big Bang and will then release the force of Type Ia Supernova according to the most respected theories of General Relativity as seen in the Einstein de Sitter Universe as it is now termed.

    Everyone who is concerned about this rash use of our tax monies should contact their members of Congress at the earliest opportunity.

    All the children will thank you for your prompt actions on their behalf and may the good God have mercy on our souls.

    Many thanks to everyone for your most prompt notification of your members
    of Congress in this most tragic concern.

    The values attained in the CDF at Fermilab are now posted at the increased 54.630 luminosity with energetics at some 2(979.66) GeV. Thus the values posted for the CDF at Fermilab now are at approximately at the midpoint of the previous run at Fermilab. The transition towards de Sitter Space may be understood within the mathematics of differential topology thus:

    (3.3) Theorem. Every k-manifold can be immersed in E^2k-1 for k > 1.
    (Smale, S. A survey of of some recent developments in differential topology, Bull. Amer. Math. Soc. 69(2) (1963), 133-145. Fields Medalists' Lectures)

    The statistical work which modeled this juxtapostion of two n-dimensional manifolds is quoted earlier in this thread.

    Weeeee I DID IT! I am on the Paul Dixon show, I REALLY DID IT woooooohooooohhhh....

    New years eve would be the perfect setting to start some cosmic fireworks and start the year with a clean slate, let's hope Fermi labs finally lives up to our expectations, what's taking them so long?

    Many thanks to everyone for your most kind and prompt actions in this most tragic concern.

    It is of the greatest importance to note in this connection that the actions of nature as now seen in the effects of tsunami action in the Indian Ocean can create the extinction of species. So far some 99.99% of all species have become extinct. Do we really wish to trifle with the vast forces of nature as indicated in the the first page of this thread or should we find prudent means of making these discoveries through the examination of nature in the center of supernova via astrophysical observations?

    All the children now and for all time will thank you for your kind and prompt actions on their behalf. The umbrella orgainization for disaster relief in the UK can be reached at www.dec.org.uk

    May God grant to all of us a safe and healthy New Year!

    It's a sad state of affairs to use that disaster to support your agenda, Paul. Have you no decency?
