    On topic:

shmoe's post makes the construction clear. Try drawing the diagram using shmoe's coordinates. The base is in the x-y plane. The faces ABS and CDS are in the x-z and y-z planes, respectively, which are both perpendicular to the base.

    Off topic:

    Yuriy:

I think, somehow, that that is unlikely to occur.

Perhaps the law is different in Russia to what it is in the US or Australia. sciforums isn't in Russia, though. You might want to check on that before commencing legal action, Yuriy.

    MacM:

Which rules ar you referring to?

An author generally retains copyright to his or her own works, unless he or she assigns it by agreement to another party.

    Unpublished Works
The author or copyright owner may wish to place a copyright notice on any unpublished copies or phonorecords that leave his or her control.

Example: Unpublished work © 2002 Jane Doe

Omission of the Notice and Errors in Notice
The 1976 Copyright Act attempted to ameliorate the strict consequences of failure to include notice under prior law. It contained provisions that set out specific corrective steps to cure omissions or certain errors in notice. Under these provisions, an applicant had 5 years after publication to cure omission of notice or certain errors. Although these provisions are technically still in the law, their impact has been limited by the amendment making notice optional for all works published on and after March 1, 1989. For further information, request Circular 3, "Copyright Notice."

    Online Works
For all online works other than computer programs and databases, the registration extends only to the copyrightable content of the work as received in the Copyright Office and identified as the subject of the claim. The application for registration should exclude any material that has been previously registered or published or that is in the public domain. For published works, the registration should be limited to the content of the work asserted to be published on the date given on the application.

Many works transmitted online are revised or updated frequently. For individual works, however, there is no blanket registration available to cover revisions published on multiple dates. A revised version for each daily revision may be registered separately, provided the revisions constitute copyrightable authorship. A separate application filing fee would be required for each separately published update.

For details on how to register online works, please see Circular 66, Copyright Registration for Online Works

Did you have a point you wished to make? The material you have posted seems to be irrelevant.

A simple diagram of a rectangular pyramid with 2 sides (opposite) normal to its base is attached. Look into the corner of a room. ABCD is base (floor). Sides ADE & BCE are on the walls. Hope this helps.

It is interesting to note that the intersecting lines of these opposite sides with the base can never be paralell.

WOW. I'll leave it at that and not muddy this thread. But it seems these links address the issue of copyrights and on-line posts.

I know that is why I am not pursueing your response. Further I didn't introduce this topic Yuriy did and I was responding to his mis-information and to your request that I explain.

Delete this and other "off topic" posts to clean up the thread.
