the americans knew what might happen when they signed up, just as iraqis now know that they will most likely die if they rebel, only diff is that the americans did it for greed, the iraqis did it for freedom

So... if the Americans did it for greed, what fortune did the soldiers get out of it?

The Iraqi's did it for freedom? If Iraqi's wouldn't rebel and respect eachother and not try to kill politicians and steal everything when they have the chance, there would be no need for America in Iraq.

Here are the pictures from today's NEW ENGLAND JOURNAL OF MEDICINE.

Americans should die for the freedom of Americans. If Iraqis want a democracy let them die for it. Those poor soldiers who have died in Iraq have in no way saved America from anything. A single bullet would could have eliminated Saddam. Our intellegence community was not up to the task.

    Not all of them.

That's not to say they won't suffer when the authorities get hold of them.

    Time of war?
Gives a whole new spin to the term "Friendly fire".

So... if the Americans did it for greed, what fortune did the soldiers get out of it?

They get to not be executed.
    A fortune indeed

Well said Dee Cee. Our boys die in another fight that is not ours, just like in Vietnam. I'm waiting for the day when good ol'Mr.Bush decides to restart the draft!
