Better quality of life, longer life, no 3rd world, cheap inexhaustible power, less violence and crime, better drugs, more leisure time, 100's of great award winning movies, cleaner air water and earth, women on the moon and mars, space advertising to name but a few.. Oh and WORLD PEACE.

That picture is awesome. Actually, he was close enough to what we have today, especially by 50s standards of technology.

 

That image is a fake, it was an entry in a fark photoshop contest. The original was an image of some submarine controls if I remember correctly.

That crappy TV in the corner, the old guy, and the really badly photoshopped terminal at the front are all added in.
