one of the planes in 9/11 hit the Pentagon. i was wondering though, did the plane get shot before it hit the pentagon.??
no it didnt but if you do a search theres a thread that shows that the plane.....never hit!!! ill find it.
thank you everyone for your answers. i have rea the threat about the theories and visited other sites about it but frankly i think its all a load of bull. the theories have a base but it would be too hard for it to be pulled off infront of so many people. however, ut is very possible and perhaps likely that America isnt telling the whole truth. anyway are people sure that the plane was never shot down or was it shot at perhaps??
It's not all that hard to believe that there was not a more rigorous, faster reacting defense protocol in place for the Pentagon. It's not a hardened target because in a real shooting war it is simply too easy of a target. I doubt that there is anything in the Pentagon that the military doesn't have five backup copies of in hot sites scattered around the country in real hardened targets, like those under-the-mountain sites in the West. The Defense Department conducts its day-to-day business in the Pentagon because it's convenient, close to Washington (it's actually in Virginia, we never took back that one-third of the District of Columbia from the Rebels after the Civil War ended), easy to shuttle back and forth to Congress, the White House, and all the other government buildings. But if the Pentagon were completely destroyed by a nuclear hit, DoD wouldn't be out of commission for one second. They'd just automatically shunt everything to one of the hot sites. There's no reason to put a lot of resources into defending the Pentagon from a military perspective. (Same goes for the White House. I don't doubt that the President can be five miles away and a hundred feet underground in minutes.) However, now that it's been hit, they might decide that we need to do a better job of maintaining our image. The next airliner that tries to hit it probably will be shot down before it gets close. I hope it's not simply off course due to pilot or instrument error and none of us is on it.
