OK, all you talkers. If you are not going to respond to fascist trends in any way, then read no further.

If you're still with me, then get informed, and be an informer. Let's deluge these bastards with Idiot Letters.

I'm off to work on my first opus. Thank you.

    Dear Homeland Security People:

Thank your for your service. I have found your website informative, and would like some further information. In return, I have some information for you. But first, could you please clear up for me.

My Emergency Supply Kit is getting unwieldy. It has evolved into a tracked vehicle, weighing over 40 tons. She packs a wallop, though. Could you please outline the minimum facilities and arrangements necessary to keep you out of my fucking life?

My Family Communication plan, I can't tell you a lot about. But it involves a very secure internet multiplex/enciphering, no trap door. But it's a Rabbit hole, and if you go chasing rabbits, it's going to get pretty weird down there.

Why? Because the national emergency that I am anticipating was alluded to by Thomas Jefferson when he said:
Anyway, I look forward to corresponding with you to make America stronger and safer again. Thank you in advance for your reply.

    Come on, People-Now-

Let's bury them in nonsense and keep them too busy to stay out of the red. We can push these bureaucracies into complete meltdown, if we just try together. It might even be fun.

    Any lawyers on Scifora?

    Cavalier de Ouis? C'est possible?

Some people call me the Yes Cowboy!

Yeah, some call me the Gansta of Love-

I don't think SecState Rice is going to meet many Yes Cowboys on her "diplomatic" missions. But she's going to enjoy herself:
Get off your ass: She's got another think coming, if I can help it.

    Hey hypewaders,

Although I agree with the fascist trends that you mention, I don't believe I'm with you. I am informed and see lots of doom ahead for the ideals of the constitution. I do not know the answer. A letter campain doesn't seem to be it. Power to you though. If the bad guys wore black hats they would be in trouble by me. Last I checked a brigade of highly trained mass murderers wouldn't make a dent in the problem.

The new world order is beginning to show its face. No one is in a position to stop it. My entire life, my nation has been led by fascists. A slow steamroller of fascism. I woke up about a decade ago. The situation becomes more obvious daily. Republican leadership now use the word 'mandate' and the phrase 'the will of the people' as a matter of course.

When I was in the Army a buddy told me "when change happens, change with it and make it work" I've never forgotten(yet rarely followed) that advice. Even the fascists are Gods creatures. If this is the new America, what would you have us informed citizens do?

I have met the enemy, and it is US.

We can put them out of their misery like any other political disease has been: Make it more paranoid, until the behavior of the government is so absurd and self-defeating, that government loses the ability to function, and is ready for an overhaul: A truly democratic Constitutional Convention, granting all states full sovereignty, with a return to an absolute bare-bones federal government, that could be entirely staffed by less than 5,000 people distributed and tele-commuting from nationwide. No delegates in Washington. Congress gets Online. The President (and all future Presidents) are demoted to figurehead/diplomatic status.

We don't have to wait for AI to have a benevolent federal government that minds its own limited business. There are powerful people who would prefer just making gobs of money without the government's interference. As a corporation friendly to the US government, life is great. But all positions have been filled, and the major partnerships are becoming scandalized. The fact of the matter is, doing business with the Powers that Be in Washington is getting too high-maintenance.

And the Dollar shrinks some more...

I don't see a call to action here. I have a view of a better America myself. I fear it is but a dream. McVey tried to act. Insanity! I see his point but I am not willing to take such a step. There is an E.O. that exists today that disbands the constitution and places the military under the head of FEMA. This is what will happen if civil disobedience makes our Gov't paranoid.

There will be a huge event on inauguration day. This is perhaps the only time during his upcoming reign that the people will know where the so called leader of the free world will be.(not sure of future state of the union speeches) He has called up 4,000 troops that we know of already to protect him from the masses. Although my heart is with the people that will be demonstrating against him, nothing will come of it. Unless the planned catalyst occurs here I bet the media will not even cover the million+ people that will stand opposed.

" McVey tried to act. Insanity!"

Did you ever consider acting sanely and without violence, to cause change for the better to occur? Like other empires, the end, (or paradigm-shift.. I believe the USA can survive, but in a highly-decentralized economic union of states) will likely be an internal implosion. This process can be accelerated nonviolently.

There are revolutionary means that do not involve marching with signs, or blowing up anything or anybody. This is a war of ideas, and the ideas that humanity collectively holds as most true- especially involving how we relate to each other in international groups- are the ideas that will be victorious. Presently, the ideas or worldview being marketed from the US Executive Branch are not reality-based, and are self-defeating. I am suggesting that we can all give it a little push in the inevitable direction, reveal this fascist Zeitgeist for what it really is, and get the bad years over with, deliberately in accelerated fashion, and without delay. This would require massive public participation in swamping the most ridiculous aspects of our society in revealing and unspinnable absurdity.

A letter campaign to DHS won't do it though. They'll just get a bigger dumpster. A letter campaign to your house and senate reps has a better chance... but once again, bigger dumpster.

I don't think you realize the number of letters people in government actually receive... or should I say don't receive. The ONLY way to get something to an upper level government office in a timely fashion is through FedEx, UPS, or some other delivery service. Otherwise it just gets opened in the basement, and most likely trashed.

Now we could spam them with FedEx's, but that would hurt us more than them. They'll just start sending deliveries through the same channels USPS goes through.

A much better way would be to report ever little thing that you see which is even slightly against the law (but only the little things). This is akin to people not complaining about speed limits until they actually get a ticket. Not only do you flood them with mostly pointless 'viligance reports', but if they do act on them you just made someone else aware of what is at stake.

Surely you understand that DHS is involved in surveillance of the legal and illegal populations within the US. They are devouring federal money that doesn't really exist. Every billion $ gobbled up in paranoia and even blatant power-grabbing is one small step in the media, but one giant leap closer to The Brink, in reality.

Tickle the antennaes of the emerging surveillance state enough, and they will become excited, confused, absurd, hated, and bankrupt. Remember: The present controlling agenda is not reality-based- That means that a "security" state can be induced to consume itself and collapse. The mentalities of present American political winds are such that fascism and representative democracy are approaching a duel at High Noon.

Each of us must decide if we're OK being corraled. I can only speak for myself, but I don't think I'm alone in finding personal political action including non-violent disruption of my own government as within my rights as an informed, concerned, and freedom-loving, red-blooded American citizen (and human).

But the problem is that a letter drive wouldn't do this. It's not what they're looking for, and it's probably not something they'll read.

You're not going to be able to overload an agency with letters that are easily filtered (and already are filtered). Nobody who matters will ever seem them, and won't become excited/confused/whatever.

You're also trying to treat the agency like a single person, which it isn't. You'll never excite or confuse it... just make it less efficient or make it's actions better known.

OK, here's a clue for you more: Write letters they spend money in response to. It's a glass onion. Throw Stones.

Then it must be a US Government Trojan. Do you have a problem with that? I can report you.

The lyrics link? Sorry- I just edited in a substitute. Damn Trojans. That's what we need a war on: The War on Trojans. No, Trojan Wars, that's it. I'm calling Tom Ridge about this.

Other subversiveness might include widespread, brief and sporadic absurd text: A politically-motivated linguistic fad, a Project for the New Beat Century, because if it breaks all logical continuity only sporadically, it could be primitive khutzpah capstone emergency code.
