I find the towers reasoning a little bit shallow too, but I guess it's the best metaphor he can do.

And surendered, that interview was delivered to the taliban who say they passed it to Bin Laden. At that time the taliban wanted to give the picture that the Israelis did it, so they wouldn't have to take the blaim... It was just your usual Arab anti-semitism.

Precisely. I seriously suspect this tape was produced through Mossad. Likud is in deep shit, and they know it. They believe that they need major escalation of conflict between the USA and Islamic radicals, by any means, because it is necessary for their survival.

 

Hands...... same hands as Bin Laden's, I think it is him, also the attitude, speech, sound of voice.

 

If it wasn't Bin Laden someone from Al-Quaeda would come out and send a denial tape or just post it in their webpages. It's that simple.

Hmmm. I really don't understand who would fake this tape in this way. On the other hand, the message is fake, because it does not correlate in terms of style and perspective in the least, as compared with past video speeches credibly attributed to OBL. The rhetoric in English sounds like English was the original source language. Most (especially early) translations include noticeable and typical stumbles in English idiom, because it is difficult to translate thoughtstreams between any significantly differing languages, without having a few vernacular miskeys, which can only be smoothed out after several rewrites (somewhat difficult to do with a news dispatch).

Puzzling. We may be puzzling on this for a very long time. I just want an open fucking government and intellectually curious media, so that we don't have to look through this deliberate information clutter all the time.

Our news is being spammed. We are witnessing "news" production, not necessarily by a news organizations, but by persons who are familiar with the industry and its tastes.
