Right now, Kerry is a much better choice than Bush. Bush lied to the american people about IRAQ having WMD. He would lie again to the american people over Iran or North Korea. Bush is about as bad as they come when it comes to american presidents. How can the american people even consider re-electing a stupid idiot for president???? Atta Boy
I think your beef is with: (a) Populist democracy and (b), its product: the professional politician. In no important way is Kerry an alternative to Bush. Lots of people like to feel self-important by considering him such however.
wow neoclassical you manage to ignore most of the reasoning many have mentioned with that last statement. Mind explaining why neither of these two candidates are different in any important way?
Zero change to the system or its values as a whole. And since this system has proven its failure... If you qualify in your response, I'll explain more. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for the publication. I realize I come across as a dick, but my faith in people "on the Internet" that I don't know has plummetted to the point where I'm rarely willing to invest time in them.
What system are you talking about here? what publication? If you say something along the lines of "for further information please by my book\pamphlet\media item" I am sooooo going to have you banished.
Kerry's not a true alternative to Bush in that he's not a radical left-winger whereas Bush is a radical right-winger. But you must admit there are fundamental differences between the two men. There's cowboy Bush who said it felt great when Baghdad was being pummelled, and then there's Kerry.
I think if Bush gets reelected, the whole world will for once know for sure how uncritical, brainwashed, and under the influence of the media giants the American public really are. It will be a very sad day for me that's for sure, and I'm living in Australia! Western values don't consider "rape" to be a respectible way to deal with a situation. As far as many people are concerned, the coalition has raped the Iraqi land, and turned it into a massive problem. I don't think Bush, in his limited capacity, will find a good way to deal with the situation in Iraq. He will create an even bigger problem. Kerry, however, I have a lot more faith in, especially with the massive task he has on his hands to undo the destructive "progress" of the last 4 years. If Kerry takes control, we might have an opportunity to redeem ourselves. I think another 4 years of Bush and every westerner will have blood on his hands for the next 50 years.....
Indeed she's a Savage Lucy .... (I felt the need to bring that out one last time at least before the election.)
Sadly our constitution lays out the framework for a 2 party system. It takes a majority of electoral votes to win a presidential race, even a close 3 way race wouldn't cut it. We could have a system with a lot more candidates, but we'd have to get used to Congress picking the president for us.
Then you have clearly not been paying much attention to the elections Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Your assessment of his tax policy is incorrect, by the way. Kerry claims he'll repeal the tax cuts on the wealthiest 1% and lower them for middle income families, and create tax incentives to cease corporate outsourcing.
My thoughts exactly! May as well just vote for Jerry Falwell or . . . who's the grand wizard of the KKK these days?
