And human technology is not connected with the evolution of brain?? Neanderthals could not come up with the modern technology due to their undeveloped brains. And we are condifent that homo sapiens' brain capable of doing everything. Really??? Could it be the case of the planetary arrogance? What if homo sapiens' brain is not enough to overcome limitations of fluctuating environment and brain's evolution is too slow? I think humans are near the edge of their scientific capabilities. Most modern scientists are 24/7 zombies already, working near the edge of their capabilities. I would not keep my hopes high expecting invention of a "warp drive" or some other remarkable discovery.

I don't know why, but I have the slight impression that this one rule actually changed, or, well.... evolved!.......

o you think that are technology isnt ment to get anymore advanced than they are now?

There is no limit to technology , and transistor scaling and what follows of higher speed processor , and what follows of more complicated software , and talking about DNA and clooning , the road is long

    no limits

There probably are limits when speaking on an ultimate scale, those limits only being perhaps what fits the laws of the universe itself. But its safe to say that the theoretical limits of technology are far beyond our imagination and perhaps even comprehension.

I totally agree with Gravity. It was exactly what I was going to say....

Computers are already reaching a limit (how much information you can store in how much space, and the speed of information transfered). However, there's already some research to go beyond that, using other technologies. I think it uses magnets or something like that.

You may be thinking of quantum computing, which effectively access any number of parallel quantum versions of the same transistor to boost information processing speed. Or there's optical switching, which could be far faster than any solid-conductor electronics.
